HOW IT HAPPENED, GAME 1
-In the opener, the Tigers had no answer for the duo of Jess Miller and Mason King, who combined to allow four singles in the game.

-The offense in the opening game of the series came in the second inning, where all four runs crossed the plate, capped by a Jamie Laframboise RBI double and a Joshua Cunningham two-run base knock.

HOW IT HAPPENED, GAME 2
-In the nightcap of Friday's doubleheader, the offense was strong for both teams early. In the top half of the opening inning, the visitors put together a two-run inning on RBI singles by Jake Holloway and J. Ross.

-However, the Tigers responded in the bottom half of the inning. After Jake Woolard, Jack Galanek and Sully McCreery led off the inning with three straight walks, Cater Huffman brought Woolard home with a sacrifice fly.

-Next up, Jack Roode laced a two-run single to the gap to give Sewanee its first lead of the series, 3-2, with one out. Roode later scored on a throwing error to give the Purple and White a 4-2 lead after one inning.

-In the sixth, the inning started off with a bang. Holloway sent a fly ball over the left field fence for a leadoff solo home run. Later, his brother, Teddy Holloway, gave the visitors the lead for good with a two-run single.

-Centre added a key insurance run in the ninth with a sacrifice fly.

HOW IT HAPPENED, GAME 3
-In the series finale on Saturday, it was a traditional pitcher's duel, with nobody scoring through five innings.

-In the sixth, the scoreboard was dented first by the Colonels with an RBI single. However, Wade Sansome had a productive groundout to score Jake Woolard.

-Centre had runners at second and third with one out in the eighth, but they were left there thanks to a Chris Esselman looking at a third strike and a Karson Thompson flyout.

-In the bottom of the ninth, Sewanee had an opportunity to walk it off. With two outs, Tyler Dunbar laced a double into the gap. After William McAdams took over to pinch run, he was stranded at second base after a groundout to force the game into extras.

-In the 10th, Centre had a lead-off single and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt. After a walk to put runners at first and second and a pop up for the second out, Esselman recorded the go-ahead RBI single. Thompson followed with a two-run RBI single to lead 4-1.

-In the bottom of the 10th, Carter Huffman recorded a sacrifice fly to right field to score Wesley House. However, the Tigers left the tying run in scoring position as a groundout ended the contest.
