WINCHESTER, Va. – Keystone baseball team wrapped up the Mr. V Memorial Classic slate Sunday after dropping a 15-3 affair to No. 18 Shenandoah at Bridgeforth Field.

Giants jumped on the board early with Adam Kelly (Beach Lake, Pa./Honesdale) taking the first-pitch offering and driving it to left-center field to bring Chris Hadsall (Lehman, Pa./Lake Lehman) around for a 1-0 lead in the first inning.

The score remained until the bottom of the second when Shenandoah's Brody Pickette slammed a three-run opposite-field home run to start the scoring for the Hornets.

Logan Lixie (Tamarac, Fla./J.P. Taravella) got the nod on the mound for the Giants and went 5.0 innings with two strikeouts but allowed eight hits and eight earned runs in his first loss of the season.

Keystone dropped to 1-5 on the year while Shenandoah improved to 10-2.
