AUBURNDALE, FL – Louis Rosnner hit a two-run walkoff double in the bottom of the ninth as Penn State Abington ended its Spring Break Trip with a dramatic, 3-2 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan University.

The Nittany Lions finished with a 5-2 record in Florida and it upped their overall mark to 7-4 on the year. The loss dropped the Prairie Wolves to 6-6.

Nebraska Wesleyan held a 2-1 lead into the bottom of the ninth. Matt Crisci led off the stanza with a walk and moved up 90 feet on a Jaden Himmelreich sacrifice bunt. Crisci then moved to third on a wild pitch. Andrew Lastowka walked and stole second, putting two in scoring position for Rossner, who had come into the game two innings earlier. In his lone at-bat, Rossner smacked a pitch for a double to score both and send the bench into a celebration.

Penn State Abington scored its first run on the seventh as Lastowka's triple plated Josh Baar, who had singled. The Prairie Wolves tied it in the eighth and took the lead in the top of the ninth before Rossner's heroics.

Himmelreich picked up the win in relief. Greg Wiley started and pitched five-plus innings of scoreless ball. Six different Nittany Lions had one hit in the game.
