HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. -- Hampden-Sydney College dropped a 15-0 non-conference baseball decision at home to Huntingdon (AL) College on Sunday afternoon on Yank Bernier Field at the Ty Cobb Ballpark – Wurdeman Stadium. Freshman Justin Reynolds (Virginia Beach) took the pitching loss for the host Tigers (17-9) in the seven-inning contest against the visiting Hawks (18-11).

H-SC had four hits with five errors. HC scored 15 runs on 12 hits with two errors … scoring one run in the first inning, one run in the second, three runs in the third, three runs in the fourth, one run in the fifth and six runs in the sixth.

Sophomore Lucas Burnette (Hurt) (1-2), along with freshmen Christian Chambers (Midlothian) (1-2), Christian Lancaster (Danville) (1-2) and Johnny Oates II (Chester) (1-2), each had one hit for the Tigers.

Reynolds (2-2) started and pitched the first 3.2 innings, allowing six hits and eight runs, only one earned, with one strikeout and three walks. Sophomore Jack Bourdon (Madison) was among six pitchers for H-SC, tossing 1.1 innings and allowing three hits and one run, earned, with no strikeouts and no walks.
