It was a fast start for starting pitcher Jared Beckley (Windsor, N.Y. / Windsor), setting down St. John Fisher in order in the first. However, the Cardinals would get on the board with three runs in the second.

The Cardinals would break the game open in the fifth with six runs to take a 9-0 lead. The Wolves scattered hits throughout the game. Keuka got leadoff hits in the second, fifth, and seventh, but was not able to breakthrough. St. John Fisher added two more in the seventh as they defeated the Wolves 11-0.

Lead Wolf: Playing on senior day, Jimmy Griffin (Syracuse, N.Y. / East Syracuse-Minoa) led the Keuka attack with a pair of hits. The senior had a single and a double in game one. It was his fourth double of the year, setting a new personal best.

The Cardinals took the early lead plating three runs in the top of the first. The Wolves looked to quickly answer. Matt Vaccaro (Fayetteville, N.Y. / Fayetteville-Manlius) led off the bottom of the first with a single. Following a Nick Brown (Liverpool, N.Y. / Liverpool) walk, Ryan Seales (Saratoga Springs, N.Y. / Saratoga Springs) singled to center to score Vaccaro. Unfortunately for Keuka, the Cardinals starter settled into the game and got the next three batters to fly out to end the inning.

St. John Fisher added a run in the third. Keuka attempted to answer as Vaccaro led off with another single, but he would be thrown out attempting to steal second. The Cardinals then added three more in the fourth to lead 7-1 after four.

The Green and Gold got back on the board in the fifth, turning a Tyler Lewandowski (Milltown, N.J. / Spotwood) leadoff walk into a run with a Nick Brown RBI single. St. John Fisher got that run back in the seventh and continued onto the 8-2 victory.

Lead Wolf: Matt Vaccaro set the table for the Wolves. Batting leadoff, the sophomore accounted for half of Keuka's offense with three of Keuka's six hits in game two.
