The Benedictine University baseball team moved to 4-1 on the trip to Florida by winning a wild 14-12 contest with William Paterson on Wednesday. Kevin bushnell hit a grand slam as part of Benedictine building a 10-4 advantage. William Paterson struck for eight runs in the top of the eighth inning to lead 12-10 before Benedictine countered with four in the bottom of the inning to win. Brennan Fisher tied the game with a sacrifice fly and Andrew Tenison notched an RBI single to score the go-ahead run. Andrew Kurcz threw seven solid innings. Nick Shelton earned the win in relief recording the final four outs and leaving the tying runs on base in the ninth. Tenison, Gregorio and Cole Wilson all notched a pair of hits.
