The Cardinals took the lead over the Wolves in the second inning with a run, then added two more in the third. A two-run home run by St. John Fisher gave them a 5-0 lead after five innings.

Keuka College got on the board in the sixth. Matt Vaccaro singled and stole second. With two outs, Nolan Quinn (Aurora, Ohio / Walsh Jesuit) singled to score Vaccaro. The Wolves continued to capitalize with two outs. Later in the inning, Josh Tryon (Elmira, N.Y. / Thomas A. Edison) hit an RBI single to score Quinn. A walk then loaded the bases and Brady Booher (Rochester, N.Y. / Eastridge) worked a bases-loaded walk to make it 5-3.

The Wolves cut it to a one-run game in the seventh, again started with a Vaccaro single. Back-to-back walks loaded the bases with one out. Unfortunately for Keuka, a sacrifice fly by Connor Springer (Irondequoit, N.Y. / Irondequoit) was all Keuka could score as Fisher remained ahead 5-4.

The Cardinals added a pair of runs in the bottom of the seventh. The Wolves got a runner on in the eighth and ninth, but were unable to rally as Keuka College fell to St. John Fisher 7-4.
