Roosevelt) combined to allow two runs, one earned, as Cortland defeated visiting New Paltz, 6-2, to complete a three-game sweep of the Hawks in SUNYAC baseball action. A wild pitch moved the runners to second and third and Andrew Michalski (Buffalo/St. Francis) hit a sac fly to right to drive in the tying run. Chris Bonacci (Syracuse/West Genesee) walked and stole second, and Nick Chemotti (Warners/West Genesee) walked to load the bases. New Paltz reliever Bobby Ramsey, who entered after the Bonacci walk, appeared to end the inning when he struck out Dylan Mackenzie (Canandaigua/Canandaigua Academy), but a passed ball on the third strike allowed Mackenzie to reach and the runners to advance, with Krafft scoring from third. Mat Bruno (Rye) followed with a two-run single to center.

Michalski's squeeze bunt drove in a run in the fifth to make it 5-1. The teams traded runs in the eighth. Harvey singled with runners on first and second, and an error in the outfield allowed a run to score, to bring New Paltz within 5-2, but Cortland answered with a Zachary Kringdon (Larchmont/Mamaroneck) sac fly in the bottom of the inning.
