It surprises nobody that the top of the Ohio Athletic Conference dominates the top of Region 7. Baldwin Wallace and Marietta are loaded so let the games begin. Two conferences have clear favorites - Denison in the NCAC and Washington & Jefferson in the PAC while the MIAA is shaping up to be a two team race with Adrian and Kalamazoo.
Adrian is back in the NCAA Tournament after earning the MIAA Automatic Bid. After losing to Alma in the opening round, the Bulldogs swept its pair of elimination games on Thursday before sweeping Alma in the championship on Friday.
Adrian broke or tied four offensive records on Friday and they were not the only ones. Pitt-Greensburg also broke records. Mary Washington, St. Joseph (L.I.), Wartburg and Wilkes all scored 15 or more runs on the day.

ADRIAN, Mich.--Recent Adrian College graduate Tommy Parsons (New Albany, Ohio) has signed a Major League Baseball Free Agent Contract with the St. Louis Cardinals, the Club announced. Parsons, who becomes the second Bulldog in as many years to sign with a MLB club, has been assigned to the organization's rookie team the Johnson City Cardinals of the Appalachian League.
