The Team of the Week is D3baseball.com's weekly honor roll, in its inaugural season of recognizing the top performance at each of thirteen positions from the previous week. This is the fourth Team of the Week of the 2012 season.

C Brendan Scioscia, Sr., Waynesburg
Scioscia helped lead Waynesburg to a solid 3-2 record against a pair of quality opponents this past week. The four-year starter behind the plate led his team in batting average (.579), hits (11) and RBI (10). He also played error-free defense.
1B Kyle Rodriguez, Fr., Concordia Texas
Rodriguez went 7-for-11 with a triple, a double and eight RBIs to fuel a three-game ASC West Division road series sweep of Sul Ross State. Rodriguez, who drove in at least one run each game, also scored three runs, walked once and stole a base for the nationally-ranked Tornados.
2B Mike Kerdock, Sr., Mississippi College
Kerdock batted .615 (8-for-13) with two home runs on the week. He drove in eight runs for the Choctaws. Kerdock ranks 2nd in the ASC with a .447 batting average and is in the midst of an 18-game hitting streak.
SS Tom Ditro, Sr., Penn State-Abington
Ditro led Abington to a 5-2 record, going 11-for-27 at the plate with four doubles, 10 RBI, six runs scored and five stolen bases while posting a .407 batting average, a .448 on base percentage and a .556 slugging percentage. He posted a perfect fielding percentage with 18 putouts, 15 assists and no errors, currently leads the NEAC in RBI with 27.
3B Mike Mastrocola, Sr., Colby
Colby's Mike Mastrocola went over 100 career hits (is currently at 102) and helped the Mules to a 5-3 record. In 12 games this season, Mastrocola has already equaled last year's RBI total of 22. He had an .808 slugging percentage for the week, including a grand slam home run against Plymouth State. He lead Colby in total hits, runs scored, triples, home runs, walks, and RBI.
OF Kevin Knack, Sr., Oneonta St.
Knack was the bight spot in a 5-5 week for Oneonta State. The outfielder was 14-for-35 with six doubles, a triple and a home run. Knack drove in ten runs and scored twelve.
OF Shannon Mark, Sr., Chris. Newport
Mark hit a torrid .615 in three games this week, improving to .421 on the season. His fifth triple of the season came in the first game against N.C. Wesleyan, tying the all-time CNU record for triples in a season and giving him sole possession of the all-time career triples mark (11). Mark was second on the team in RBI this week, despite hitting out of the leadoff spot.
OF Brandon Rogalski, Jr., Washington U.
Rogalski hit .615 (16-for-26) in five wins for Washington (Mo.) last week. He finished the week with four RBIs and a team-best eight runs scored. Rogalski was also 5-for-5 in stolen-base attempts. With his performances last week, Rogalski moved into third on Washington's all-time career hits list (183), fifth in career stolen bases (44), sixth in career doubles (38), and seventh in career RBIs (121).
DH Joe Borowski, So., Castleton
Borowski spearheaded the Spartan attack last week, batting .571 with an .800 on-base percentage as Castleton went 3-1. The sophomore went 4-for-7, scored seven runs , and had two RBI while drawing six walks and getting hit twice without striking out. He also had a pair of steal and a .571 slugging percentage.
SP Chris Dragone, So., Farmingdale State
Dragone threw a perfect game in Farmingdale State's 11-0 game one victory over Yeshiva. Dragone struck out seven batters over seven innings of work en route to his first career perfect game
SP Sam Forkert, So., Marian
Forkert tossed the sixth no-hitter in Marian history Sunday afternoon, striking out a career-high 12 batters and walking five in a dominating performance to defeat Finlandia, 1-0.
SP Stuart Gano, Jr., Pomona-Pitzer
On Monday, Gano made his first start of the year against No. 2 Kean (and ace Kevin Herget) and earned his first victory in a 4-2 Pomona-Pitzer win, throwing six innings and allowing four hits and one run. On Saturday, he made his second start against Chapman in the rubber game of a three-game series and threw a complete game in a 5-1 win, allowing five hits over nine innings while striking out seven and walking one.
RP Sean Kistler, Jr., Texas Lutheran
Kistler picked up two saves on the same day against McMurry, allowing just one hit and striking out three batters. Kistler’s performance over a combined 2 2/3 innings allowed the Bulldogs to take the ASC West Division series and snap the War Hawks seven-game win streak to start conference play. Kistler’s saves came in 2-1 and 6-3 games.
