BRIDGEWATER, MA -- After defeating Framingham State in the first round of the conference playoffs and taking down #2 seed Westfield in extras on Thursday, the Buccaneers take on top seeded Bridgewater State in the semifinals of the MASCAC playoffs on Friday at 3pm.
This season, Maritime is 1-2 against Bridgewater having walked off with a 4-3 win at home on April 18th. On April 26th, the Bucs went to Bridgewater and lost both games of their doubleheader, 4-3 and 8-7. The series loss against Bridgewater was one of onely two series losses this season for Maritime.
On the season, the Bucs are currently 24-15, including their two wins on Thursday over Framingham and Westfield.
Bridgewater enters the semifinals with a 28-13 overall record, including their 3-0 win in the conference Quarterfinals on Thursday over Salem State.
