Second seeded Ramapo defeated fourth seeded Rowan 7-2 Saturday night in the NJAC Tournament to advance to the winner take all championship game on Sunday. The Roadrunners will have to wait to see who they play as Rowan will meet Kean earlier in the day to decide the final spot inthe NJAC championship game.
Lyndon battled back from a 5-0 deficit to pick up a 6-5 walk off win over New England College in the first round of the double elimination North Atlantic Conference Championship Tournament on Saturday afternoon. Zak Johnson came through with a two run walk off bases loaded single in the bottom of the ninth inning to cap the rally. The Hornets, now 20-18 on the season, will play host Castleton, a 9-2 winner over Maine-Framington, in the winner's bracket final Sunday morning. New England College awaits to play the loser of the winners bracket after shuttingout Maine-Framington 12-0.

Dubuque swept Nebraska Wesleyan by scores of 19-3 and 9-1, clinching the Iowa Conference Championships for the first time in program history. The Spartans have fought through the loss of their assistant coach, Luke Kalb, who passed away from a rare form of liver cancer in Feb., to sweep the final weekend of the regular season and capture the 2018 Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title for head coach Paul Wyczawski.
No. 20 Shenandoah University opened up the 2018 ODAC baseball tournament Saturday with a 15-4 victory over Hampden-Sydney. The Hornets (29-10) took game one of this best-of-three series by scoring three runs in the first, two in the third and five in both the sixth and eighth to dominate the Tigers (17-20). Senior Colin Morse (6-3) went the first eight innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and six walks. Morse also struck out eight.
Senior Kyle Murphy's check-swing base-hit to right field scored Anthony Crowley with the game-winning run in the bottom of the 12th inning to lift Westfield State to a 9-8 win over Framingham State in the MASCAC baseball tournament. Top-seeded Westfield, 23-15-1, advances directly to the championship round. Framingham State, 19-18, drops into the loser's bracket and will next face Salem State in an elimination game on Sunday at noon at Westfield State's Hagan Field. The elimination game was originally scheduled to be played as the last game on the tournament schedule, but after a 3-hour opener, and the 3-1/2 hour Owls-Rams marathon, the games committee moved the elimination game to Sunday in the best interest of protecting the teams' pitching.
Texas Lutheran claimed a spot in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship round on Sunday for the first time since 2014 after sophomore Spencer Brandt put together a 12-pitch at bat, eventually forcing the walk-off walk to give the Bulldogs the 3-2 victory over Southwestern. They will have a fresh opponent, facing Centenary (La.) for the first time in the three day tournament. The Gents beat Trinity (Texas) and Southwestern to reach the title tilt.

A pair of three-run homers powered Chapman to a 10-3 win over top-seeded La Verne to stay alive in the SCIAC Tournament. The Panthers advance to the championship round of the SCIAC Tournament against the second-seeded Redlands Bulldogs. Senior Conner Larkin and freshman Trevor Marrs each smacked three-run homers in the win as the Panthers never trailed. The Panthers' offense has caught fire over the last 19 innings, scoring 20 runs over that span. Chapman took the long road to the championship round of the tournament and put together some early runs to fuel their second win in a row in an elimination game
On Saturday afternoon, #4 seed U.S. Merchant Marine Academy eliminated top-seed Farmingdale State with a 9-2 victory on the second day of the Skyline double-elimination championship tournament, hosted by the Rams. Earlier in the day, FSC had lost to #2 St. Joseph's-L.I., 7-1, so that set up the elimination game against the Mariners. With the victory, USMMA improves to 27-13, while the Rams end the year 24-14. Merchant Marine will now move on to face St. Joseph's-L.I. tomorrow – Sunday, May 5 – and will have to defeat the Golden Eagles two times in order to win the Skyline title, as SJC has yet to lose in the double-elimination tourney. The first game of the day tomorrow has been moved up to a 10 a.m. start due to impeding inclement weather later in the day on Sunday.

Senior Mark Webber hit a go-ahead home run in the bottom of the eighth inning as top-seeded Babson rallied to defeat third-seeded Wheaton (Mass.), 6-3, in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Tournament winner's bracket game on Saturday afternoon at Govoni Field. Winners of 10 straight games, Babson improves to 31-10 overall and advances to Sunday's championship game. Wheaton took on Clark in an elimination game and came out on top, 5-4, setting up a rematch with Babson for the NEWMAC title.
Top-seeded Mitchell and second-seeded Lesley advanced to the title round of the 2018 New England Collegiate Conference Championship on Saturday afternoon at Alumni Field. The Mariners slugged their way to 15-6 victory over Lesley to advance out of the winner's bracket. The Lynx quickly regrouped to pick up a 16-4 win over fourth-seeded Becker to come out of the loser's bracket. Earlier in the day, Becker topped third-seeded Elms, 7-6, in an elimination game. In a rematch of last year's title game, Mitchell (29-8 overall) and Lesley (27-10 overall) will play for the conference crown on Sunday. The Mariners can claim their sixth title with a single win; a victory by the Lynx would force a winner-take-all final game.
Second-seeded Saint Joseph's (Maine) (29-12) edged #3 Johnson & Wales (24-18), 3-2, in a GNAC Baseball Tournament elimination game at Larry Mahaney Diamond on Saturday night. With the win, Saint Joseph's advances to the GNAC Championship and will face top-seeded Suffolk , which defeated Johnson & Wales, 7-6, earlier today, tomorrow. In order to capture the conference crown Saint Joseph's needs to post a pair of wins over Suffolk, which is 2-0 in tourney play thus far. For Johnson & Wales, the setback signals the end of the 2018 season.

Senior Andrew Schuler allowed just seven hits and struck out seven in a complete-game effort leading DeSales past Misericordia, 4-2, and into the MAC Freedom Championship game on Sunday afternoon. The Bulldogs will play Misericordia with first pitch set for Noon on Sunday at Owls Field. Misericordia earned a shot at the title with a 6-3 win over King's, ending the Monarch's season.

The third-seeded Western New England broke out offensively as the Golden Bears rolled to wins over sixth-seeded Gordon and second-seeded Roger Williams on the first day of the Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament at Paolino Field on Saturday. Western New England defeated the Fighting Scots 10-2 in the opener, before running away with an 18-8 triumph over the Hawks. All six teams that started the tournament are still in the running with Salve Regina joining Wester New England as the sole undefeated teams on the weekend.

Sophomore Jared Gillen hit a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to beat Johns Hopkins 6-5 and send Swarthmore to its first ever Centennial Conference Championship set for Sunday at Clothier Field in Swarthmore, Pa. The Garnet will take on Johns Hopkins, a 10-5 winner over Franklin and Marshall to come out of the elimination round. Swarthmore needs one win and Johns Hopkins needs two to earn the CC bid to the NCAA playoffs.
In the CAC, it will be Penn State-Harrisburg taking on Salisbury in the championship series. Penn State Harrisburg defeated host and second seeded Christopher Newport 8-2. Salisbury made quick work of York on Saturday in the final game of the CAC tournament, 11-3, advancing to the CAC championship series next weekend. Scott Ardoin led the way for the Sea Gulls with a 3-for-4 effort, scoring three times and driving in a pair.
For the second straight day in the American Southwest Conference Tournament, the Texas-Dallas made short work of it's opposition, steamrolling Hardin-Simmons, 15-0 to advance to the Red Division tournament finals Sunday afternoon. They will meet Le Tourneau who survived elimination twice to make the bracket final. Concordia Texas and Texas-Tyler met in the other bracket winners game and will repeat the match-up on Sunday. CTX defeated the Patriots 5-4 to gain the advantage and will need just one win to advance to the ASC championship series.
Third seeded Penn State Behrend swept Hilbert 4-1 and 9-8 to advance to the AMCC semifinals. The Lions (21-14) scored early in both games to help pull-off the sweep over the Hawks (11-24) in the first round of the AMCC playoffs. In game one of the doubleheader, senior pitcher Jack Herzing threw heat from the mound to shut the door on Hilbert. In his three-hit complete game, he sat down 13 batters while only giving up one walk. In game two, the Hawks erased a 9-1 deficit to make it a one run game.
