The 15th-ranked Oswego State picked up its first victory of the 2019 campaign convincingly at Wesley on Sunday afternoon. Berry defeated the Hendrix Warriors 6-3 Sunday afternoon at Hendrix, earning their first conference win and moving to 8-5 on the season. Berry had strong pitching throughout the game. Dylan Beasley got the start, giving up two runs and striking out five in 6.0 innings of work. Spence Johns got the win, pitching 3.0 innings and giving up just one run while striking out two.

The third-ranked Trinity (Texas) Tigers beat #18 Babson 9-4, taking two of the three games to win the weekend series. In the seventh, Trinity added three more insurance runs on a pair of hits, highlighted by Meredith and Chaumette picking up RBI for the Tigers. Babson had runners on base in each of the final three innings - including the bases loaded in the ninth - but Trinity relievers Mark Tindall and Arjun Thakar kept the Beavers off the board.

The nationally-ranked Christopher Newport Captains improved to 8-0 with another impressive performance both offensively and defensively. The Captains won, 14-1, over Gallaudet on an overcast, chilly day at Captains Park on Sunday afternoon. The Captains ripped 12 hits and worked 13 free passes in the contest while the pitching staff combined to hold the Bison to just one run on four hits in the game. CNU scored in double-digits for the sixth time in eight games this season while smacking another five extra-base hits.

Pfeiffer used a four-run second inning to take an early lead over No. 25 Piedmont, eventually downing the Lions 8-5 in the finale of the USA South series at Joe Ferebee Field. Offensively, haston Gordon led the Falcons, going 2-for-4 with four RBI.  Ira Dorin went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Falcon pitcher Matt Moser earned the pitching win for the Falcons, throwing five inning while giving up just two runs and striking out five.

Johns Hopkins grabbed a four-run lead after five innings and held off a Cortland rally in the ninth as the Blue Jays defeated the nationally 10th-ranked Red Dragons, 5-3, to close the Baltimore Invitational. Cortland finished 1-2 at the tournament and is now 3-4-1 on the season. JHU improved to 5-1 with the win. Sean McCracken earned the win on the mound for the hosts after allowing one run on four hits over seven innings. He struck out seven and walked one. Josh Hejka gave up three hits and two runs in two innings of relief.
