Crooked-number home runs powered Wooster's winning streak to double digits, then the Fighting Scots rallied late to sweep DePauw University 14-3 and 7-6 on Monday afternoon. Junior first baseman Ryan Kramer led Wooster's charge with his second grand slam of the season in the second inning. The All-American's sixth homer of 2025 made it 6-2. He went on to finish game one a triple shy of his second cycle of the year. Kramer was an impressive 4-for-5 with six RBI and two runs scored. He doubled and scored on junior catcher Colin Leslie's single to center field in the first inning. In the fourth, he roped a two-run single to left center. Strikeouts were first-year right-hander Dame Frayne's friend early. He logged five of his season-high nine over the first two innings. Frayne improved to 3-1 after allowing three runs on eight hits in five innings. First-year left-hander James MacMillan followed with two innings of hitless relief. Wooster tied Monday's nightcap in the eighth inning. Senior left fielder Nick Pett walked to lead off the inning, stole second, and scored two wild pitches later to make it 5-5. A throwing error by DePauw allowed two Wooster runs to score in the ninth inning. Prior to the game-costing miscue, first-year shortstop Luke Rizzo was hit by a pitch and moved up to third when Widtmann poked a single through the right side of the infield. Widtmann moved into scoring position with his team-leading 11th stolen base of the year. Drama ensued in the bottom of the ninth inning, as DePauw had runners on second and third with two outs before sophomore Michael Scarpelli got the called third strike to ring up Nate Heflin for the final out of the game.

Mount Union swept Otterbein, 8-2 and 19-8, in a doubleheader on the road. The Purple Raiders have now won eleven consecutive games. In game one, starting left-handed pitcher Zachary Breeden had another strong outing, where he pitched 7.0 innings with eight strikeouts, allowing only one run, earning his third win of the season. Breeden got plenty of support as his offense put up eight runs and never trailed. In game two, starting right-handed pitcher Brady Hansen threw for 5.0 innings, recording three strikeouts and securing his fourth win of the season. Sophomore right-handed pitcher Christopher Maurer earned his first save of the season by pitching a clean 4.0 innings. He struck out five batters and allowed one unearned run. The Purple Raider pitching staff was the benefit of an offense that exploded in game two, scoring an impressive 19 runs.

LeTourneau secured a four-game sweep of conference rival Howard Payne with a 6-2 win at Conrad-Vernon Field on Monday afternoon. The bullpen game worked to near perfection for the YellowJackets (15-12), who used five hurlers and scattered two runs and six hits. Will Podsednik (3-0) opened the game and earned the win via three one-run innings, striking out three. The offense set the tone early with a pair of runs in the first inning, one via a wild pitch, and the other from an RBI single from Xander Nabors. Howard Payne would mount one more offensive strike in the top of the eighth inning, getting men on second and third with one out and needing a run to tie the game. The bullpen stepped up again. Landon Stocks blew a bevy of fastballs by the following two hitters, including one with a little extra mustard on the final swinging strike, to preserve the narrow 3-2 lead. The offense responded, getting three runs in the bottom of the inning making it 6-2 going into the final frame.

Two big innings in the late stages of the game propelled No. 7 Salisbury past the Shenandoah Hornets, 10-3, on Monday afternoon at Bridgeforth Stadium. The Sea Gulls tacked their first run on the board in the first inning as Danny Sheeler doubled and Noah Burroughs singled him home. The Hornets countered with a trio of unearned runs in the third. With two on and only two out after an error, Brody Pickette tagged and RBI single and Connor Houser doubled home two more to put Shenandoah up 3-1. Salisbury in turn took advantage of a Hornet error to land a haymaker in the sixth. With two down and men on the corners, Ben Anderson smashed a two-run pinch-hit single up the middle to put the Sea Gulls on top 4-3. TJ Morris followed with a two-run double to build the lead to 6-3. The Sea Gulls put it away with another big flourish in the ninth, solidifying the 10-3 margin that Salisbury would lock down in the bottom of the ninth.

Minnesota Morris finished a three game sweep of Northland 16-3 in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference action Monday afternoon in Mauston, Wis. Minnesota Morris opened with three runs and four in the second to grab an early 7-1 lead. Northland's Kazdion Mount tossed a clean inning in the third but the Minnesota Morris batters soon solved him, scoring a run in the fourth and breaking things open with a seven spot in the fifth for a 15-3 lead. The Jacks would not score a run for the rest of the game, but the Cougars would add more to win 16-3 in the series finale.

Graduate righty Nathan Furino allowed only four hits and one earned run over the first six innings for his 22nd career pitching victory and Eastern Connecticut State University hit three home runs in erasing an early two-run deficit in an 11-2 non-conference win over Stevens Monday evening at Dobbelaar Baseball Field. The win is Eastern's (16-5) fourth in a row and ninth in its last ten games and sixth in seven games against Stevens Tech (16-11) as the Warriors improve to 13-5 this year away from the Eastern Baseball Stadium. The Ducks had won ten of their last 11 heading into the game, including winning two of three at home against Arcadia University in a Middle Atlantic Conference play this past weekend that improved their conference record to 11-1.

Union scored five runs in the first inning and never looked back as the Garnet Chargers rolled to a 21-3 (7 inn.) victory over Bard in the rubber match of their three-game Liberty League series on a cool and rainy Monday night at the Buck Ewing "A" Diamond at Central Park. Nine players had at least one hit and 14 scored at least one run in the romp, which saw Union (16-6, 4-2 Liberty League) score 21 runs on only 12 hits thanks in part to 14 walks and six hit-batters from Bard pitching. Junior Caleb Miller recorded a team-best three hits in four at-bats, driving in two runs and scoring twice. Junior Brendan McCormick had his first two collegiate hits, including a homer, while driving in three runs, and senior Kyle Zaslaw led all players with four RBIs thanks to one swing of the bat in the fourth. Senior Sam Strazza also had an eventful game despite not recording an official at-bat, driving in a pair of runs by being hit by pitches as part of a three-HBP, one-walk night.

Anderson completed its three-game Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference series sweep of Mount St. Joseph University by taking both games of Monday's doubleheader at Don Brandon Field. Anderson (17-9, 7-3) took down Mount St. Joseph (14-9, 5-5) by a score of 9-2 in Game 1. The Ravens then hung onto a 9-8 victory in Game 2. Anderson currently sits atop the HCAC standings by a half game. In game one the Lions outhit the Ravens 12-9 as Brendan Tabor went 2-for-4, delivering two homers and four RBI. In game two, Mount St. Joseph went ahead 8-6 in the eighth. Anderson rallied and retook the lead on a misplayed the throw that allowed the go-ahead run to score. In the top of the ninth, a typical 5-2-3 double play took away a threat and a groundout by Andrew Clements sealed the game for the Ravens.

Rutgers-Camden used three-run rallies in both the seventh and eighth innings here Monday as it edged Keystone College, 8-6, in a battle of two teams that have been among the top programs in the country this season. The two teams were deadlocked in a 2-2 tie entering the top of the seventh inning, when Rutgers-Camden took the lead for good with three runs on five walks, a sacrifice fly and an RBI single by senior third baseman Ryan Nutley. Graduate designated hitter Jack Murphy delivered the sacrifice fly and sophomore right fielder Brandon Petrick plated the final run with an RBI walk. In the top of the eighth inning, Murphy ripped a bases-clearing double to make it an 8-3 game. Keystone scored its final three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning. Sophomore Sean Glenn earned the win to raise his record to 2-0, only three days after earning his first collegiate win. Glenn worked two hitless innings, allowing two hit batsmen and one earned run. He struck out three and didn't walk a batter. Sophomore D.J. Juliano entered the game in the bottom of the ninth inning with three runs home and the tying run at the plate. He struck out his lone batter to earn his first collegiate save.

Lancaster Bible hosted Notre Dame (Md.) at Penn Medicine Park in Lancaster, Pa. on Monday afternoon for a United East doubleheader, taking both games by scores of 17-9 and 6-3. The Chargers improve to 15-13 overall and 5-2 in conference while the Gators fall to 5-18 overall and 1-8 in conference. The Chargers struck first in the opener, building a 7-0 lead before the Gators found the scoreboard in the third inning with two runs. The Chargers and Gators both put up runs but Norte Dame could not find enough the get the win. The Chargers scored multiple runs in the first inning once again for a 3-0 lead. The Gators responded earlier with two of their own, stringing together a two-out rally with a few errors to cut the early lead to one. The Chargers got the bats going again extending the lead to 5-2 in favor of the Chargers. The Gators found another run in the sixth inning to cut the lead to two runs, then some great Notre Dame (Md.) defense kept the Chargers off the board going into the eighth. Needing some insurance, Owen Shimmel came through with a solo home run, his second homer of the day, to put the Chargers up 6-3. Sareyka took the mound in the ninth, catching a hard line drive for the final out as he earned the save and the Chargers completed the conference sweep.
