Memphis - It was a gorgeous day for Rhodes baseball after the Lynx came back from three and five-goal deficits to sweep Berry College at Stauffer Field Friday afternoon. Game One
Rhodes trailed 3-0 before Will Heurtin tripled in the bottom of the fifth inning and then scored on a John McNair groundout to second base. In the sixth, Berry went down in order before Jacob Telli doubled down the left field line to lead off the bottom half of the inning. Telli then stole third, his third stolen base of the game, and scored on a Brady John single to center field. John stole second, advanced to third on a Paul Giacomazzi sac bunt and then scored the tying run when Wood Kimbrough singled up the middle. Berry went down in order in the seventh as well. With two outs and the winning run at the plate, Alex Garrett entered the game for the Lynx and ended the inning on a flyout to center as Giacomazzi came up with a long catch near the fence. In the bottom of the eighth, Telli was hit by a pitch and went to third base after John bunted down the third base line. The Colonels sent the ball to first but John and the second baseman collided as the ball reached the base. The bases became loaded after Giacomazzi walked but a fielder's choice moved everyone up as Telli was thrown out at home. John then scored the winning run on a passed ball before Giacomazzi scored on a balk. The final run was scored on a Ryan Palermo sac fly to center on the next pitch. Jacob Dubs started the game for the Lynx and fanned three over 7.2 innings as he exited the game with the score tied 3-3. 

Game Two 
Berry tried to get scoring started early but John's long throw from left field reached Telli in front of the plate to end the first inning. The Lynx eventually trailed Berry 7-2 in the middle of the fourth inning until a four-run bottom of the fourth pulled the home squad within one. Ben Wilson reached first after striking out after the Berry catcher made a throwing error. With the bases loaded and no outs, Wilson and Telli scored on a Giacomazzi double to left. Facing a new pitcher, Kimbrough hit a sac fly to score John before Heurtin grounded out to the pitcher for the second out as Giacomazzi scored without Berry throwing home. In the fifth inning, Will Hunt hit the ball which was knocked down by Berry's first baseman, immediately fell into the second baseman's glove who threw to the pitcher covering first. Hunt was called safe after the pitcher dropped the ball. He eventually scored the tying run after John singled through the left side. John Fears, who entered the game in the fifth, struck out two Vikings in the sixth as Berry went down in order. With one out and runners on first and second, a Zach Liebenson single down the right field line scored the winning run (Kimbrough) before Peter York singled through the left side to score Heurtin for the final run of the day. Fears picked up his third win of the season after striking out three, allowing two hits and zero runs in three innings of work. 

John went 5-for-8 on the day with four runs scored and two RBI. Telli 2-for-3 with four walks, two runs scored and four stolen bases. Giacomazzi totaled three RBI, one walk, and two runs scored as he went 3-for-6 on the day.
