June 12, 2020 Iowa Wesleyan to leave D-III Iowa Wesleyan, one of the smallest schools in NCAA Division III, has announced its intent to return to the NAIA. The school left the NAIA for Division III in 2013 and was only eligible for the D-III NCAA Tournament for a short time.
August 22, 2019 Riley named coach at Westminster Westminster (Pa.) has hired Patrick Riley as its head baseball coach for the 2020 season. Riley was the assistant coach for the Titans the past two seasons and replaces Kelly Swiney, who stepped down after two seasons to pursue another head coaching position.
April 12, 2019 Godinsky pitches gem on Friday for Carroll Carroll made its one run stand up in a 1-0 win over CCIW rival Millikin. Webster also needed only a single early run to win their conference game with Iowa Wesleyan
February 24, 2019 Rowan dominant in opener No. 6 Rowan kicked off the 2019 season with a dominant 25-3 win at Stevens on Sunday. Iowa Wesleyan, John Carroll, and North Central all had 20+ runs in their wins. Northland hit the 20 run mark but lost to Iowa Wesleyan 28-20 in the highest scoring game of the year.
February 28, 2018 SLIAC dominated first NCBWA honors Methodist pitcher Tristen Luck was the first rookie award winner and joins Iowa Wesleyan outfielder Joseph Belarde and Spalding starting pitcher, Jimi Keating, both from the SLIAC, on the first National Players of the Week award.
February 25, 2018 Iowa Wesleyan's Belarde cycles in Sunday DH split Joseph Belarde had a huge day at the plate in the opening game of Iowa Wesleyan. Belarde hit for the cycle and ended the game with a single, two doubles, a triple, and two home runs, one of which was a grand slam.
