March 15, 2023 Hieb to retire following UNW season At the conclusion of the 2023 UNW season, the Eagles' dugout will look a lot different than it has for the last three decades. Dave Hieb announced that 2023 will be his last season as the head coach.

Today Northwestern (Minn.) and Gettysburg got one of these as did other teams who are eager for the innings a doubleheader brings.
May 13, 2022 UMAC tournament turned upside down UW-Superior was the final team to qualify for the UMAC tournament and with a 9-3 win over Crown advances to the Championship round. Earlier, top seeded North western won their first elimination contest and is battling in another with Crown late Friday night.

April 25, 2022 Crabb throws first NWU no-no since 2008 Northwestern (Minn.) finished up their three game series with Minnesota-Morris by playing a doubleheader on Monday afternoon. History was made at Reynolds field on the chilly afternoon, as Bryce Crabb threw the first no-hitter on the mound for UNW since 2008. The Eagles would split the doubleheader and win the series.
