Swartz to serve as interim head coach for St. Scholastica

DULUTH, Minn. – Brandon Swartz has been named the Interim Head Baseball Coach at The College of St. Scholastica, Interim Director of Athletics Merissa Edwards announced on Thursday.

Swartz was a full-time assistant for the baseball program the past six seasons and has been part of the coaching staff for nine seasons.

"Brandon has been steadfast in his loyalty to the Saints Baseball program and to the college and has shown great kaizen over the years," said Edwards. "I am excited to see where this program will go under his leadership."

The Hermantown native played for the Saints from 2004-07 where he was named the team's rookie of the year after his first season.
