Third and final regional rankings published

The NCAA Division III Baseball Committee has released its third and final 2011 regional Rankings, through games of Sunday, May 8. The Division III Baseball Committee will update these rankings just before determining which teams will be chosen for the eight regionals.

Schools that hold a Pool A bid are in bold, those in italics are those who need a Pool C bid to make the playoffs. There are 38 Pool A bids, 2 pool B bids and 15 Pool C bids.  Those teams not included in the regional rankings but had already earned a Pool A bid are: Catholic, Johns Hopkins, Messiah, Misericordia, Wabash, St. Joesph (Maine), Bridgewater State (Mass.), Mitchell, Husson, Concordia (Texas), and Randolph Macon.
