Late inning magic carried Lynchburg to an 8-7 victory over Roanoke Sunday afternoon in ODAC action. The win clinches a bid into the ODAC baseball tournament for the Hornets. Lynchburg trailed 7-6 heading into the ninth inning. Rob Tomasulo blooped a ball over the Maroon shortstop to knot the score, and eventually raced home with the winning run when Wil Parsons lined a ball out to right-center field. The Hornets advance to the ODAC Tournament for the first time since winning it all in 2012.

A day after outscoring Bard by a combined score of 20-4, Clarkson used two solid pitching performances to once again sweep the Raptors on Sunday afternoon, winning game one 1-0 and game two 3-2. Jarrod Mattingly earned his fourth victory of the year in game one, pitching all seven innings and keeping the Raptors off the scoreboard throughout the game. Bard managed five hits but Mattingly struck out seven in the pitcher's duel. JP Fisher was just as impressive for the Raptors, allowing two hits and walking four with one strikeout, but a passed ball in the fourth inning was the difference. Eddie Miller got the starting nod in the nightcap and went the distance, allowing five hits and two runs.

Keegan Dolan's 10 home runs for the season is a new W&L single-season record.

Senior center fielder Keegan Dolan set the W&L single-season home run record to lead Washington and Lee to a doubleheader split at Virginia Wesleyan. The Marlins came from behind to take the first game, 3-2, in 12 innings, but Dolan went 3-for-5 with two home runs in the second contest to lead the Generals to a 9-5 victory. The Marlins end their season 14-22 while the Generals prepare for the ODAC tournament.

Illinois split a doubleheader with Grinnell for the second day in a row on Sunday at Sacred Heart-Griffin High School in Springfield. The Blueboys posted a 19-14 come-from-behind win in the opener, but suffered a 5-2 loss in the nightcap. Matthew Pardo and T.J. Albers tied Illinois College single-game records as the Blueboys used an eight-run eighth inning to rally back from what was once a six-run deficit. Pardo singled in his first five at-bats to tie the Illinois College record for hits in a game. Albers had four hits, including a home run and a double, to tie the Illinois College record for RBIs in a game, with seven.

he Springfield College baseball team picked up a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) win on Thursday, beating visiting Emerson, 12-2 on Berry-Allen Field.

Springfield was led by the bats of Keith Cotnoir (Westhampton, Mass.), Jared Hopkins (Cranston, R.I.) and Shane O'Leary (Kings Park, N.Y.) in the win. Cotnoir drove in three runs while Hopkins and O'Leary drove in two each. Frank Calabrese (East Longmeadow, Mass.) and Steve Starr (Lebanon, Conn.) each tallied two hits.

Tyler Kelly (Absecon, N.J.) earned the win on the mound in his first collegiate start for the Pride. Kelly went five innings, allowing three hits and just one run while striking out four.
