St. Bonifacius, MN – Crown athletics and Director of Athletics, Mike Vigue is thrilled to announce the hiring of Brooks Repking as head baseball coach. Repking has served as Crown's associate head coach the past two seasons, helping Crown baseball set many firsts for the program both in recruiting and on the field. "I am proud to announce Brooks Repking as Crown's next Head Baseball coach." Vigue said, "Brooks has faithfully served the last four years as Crown's assistant and associate head baseball coach and has proven to be a relentless and committed coach."

As a player, Repking started his playing career at Lakeland University before transferring to Crown for his junior and senior year. During his time as a Polar, he served as a team captain and started every game during his two years at Crown, all at first base. In Repking's senior season, Crown reached the UMAC Playoffs for the first time in school history and they haven't missed the postseason since. Repking has his number twenty-one retired by the school for his contributions to Crown baseball. Repking has both his bachelor's (Sports Management) and master's (Organizational Leadership) degrees from Crown.

"I couldn't be more excited about the opportunity of being the head coach at my alma mater." Repking said, "I want to thank Director of Athletics Mike Vigue, as well as President Denton, for believing in me and Crown Baseball. I look forward to bringing continued success to the program and upholding the tradition Ryan leaves behind."

As a coach, Repking has helped lead Crown into its most successful stretch in program history. Crown set a school record in wins in 2021 with nineteen, before following that up with a thirty-win season in 2022 and a UMAC Tournament title. Winning the UMAC Tournament punched Crown's ticket to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history. Crown also has had one of the most prolific offenses in all of college baseball over the past couple of years. The Polars finished number three in the nation last year in home runs and slugging percentage and finished top twenty-five in batting average, doubles, home runs per game, runs, scoring, and stolen bases.

"Brooks dedication to building the Crown baseball program, tireless recruiting efforts, passion for his team, and patience have earned him this opportunity. He played a significant role in helping the Crown's baseball program win its first UMAC Championship and compete in its first NCAA Regional. Not only am I confident Brooks will continue to lead Crown baseball to new heights, I am just as confident he will continue to build a strong culture within the Crown Athletics department that will authentically honor Jesus Christ. The Crown baseball program is in good hands."
