Elizabethtown earned their 18th win of the season as they defeated Dickinson, 18-8. The Blue Jays 18 runs are a team season-high while the 17 total hits falls just one short of tying a season-high. Robbie Bertucio recorded a career-high seven RBIs as he went 2-4, with one run scored, and his third home run of the season. James Vito knocked in his first career home run as he went 2-3 with three runs scored, and three RBIs.

No. 6 ranked Endicott defeated MIT, 13-3, in non-conference action on Wednesday evening at North Field. The Gulls scored eight unanswered runs after falling behind 2-0 in the first inning and were never threatened the rest of the way. Thomas Barbieri highlighted the offense with his first career multi-homer game. Barbieri launched a solo homer to left center in the fifth (5-2 lead) and blasted another solo homer to deep center in the sixth (8-2). The senior catcher finished the contest going 3-for-4 with three runs scored, two RBI, and one walk. Following a two-run homer in the first inning, Nicholas Cannata took over on the bump recording three 1-2-3 innings (2nd, 4th, 6th), while striking out four straight at one point – including the side in the fourth inning (all looking). Cannata also tied his career-high for strikeouts today (11 vs. Curry, 3/22/22) and pitched his longest outing of the 2023 season, to date.

Senior Carter Johnson went 4 for 4 with a walk and two RBI as 10th-ranked Randolph-Macon outscored York (Pa.) 13-7 on Wednesday afternoon to give head coach Ray Hedrick his 450th career victory. Johnson extended his on-base streak to 14 games. He also became the seventh Yellow Jacket to have a four-hit game. Cam Furman pitched the first five innings and earned the win, improving to 3-1. Sophomore Sam Slevin pitched a perfect sixth with two strikeouts. Senior Devin Miles worked a scoreless eighth. Junior Cole Stamm hurled a 1-2-3 ninth to secure the victory. Head coach Ray Hedrick recorded his 450th victory in his 19th season with the Yellow Jackets. He is nine wins away from tying the program record of 459 career victories RMC coaching legend Hugh Stephens.

Ithaca outslugged St. John Fisher at Dugan Yard on April 12 as the Bombers came away with a 15-10 victory to improve to 16-10 on the season. After scoring just six runs in three games last weekend against RIT, the Bombers produced 19 hits and scored at least one run in seven of the nine innings on Wednesday. Eight of those hits went for extra bases. Collin Feeney led the charge with a 4-for-5 day the plate with a double, triple, three runs scored, one RBI and two stolen bases. Connor Pedersen drove in four runs on three hits, which included a home run as he eclipsed 100 career hits in just his 74th game. Ryan Laubscher was 3-for-6 with three RBI, three runs and a homer, while Colin Shashaty went 3-for-6 with three runs, a double, two stolen bases and one RBI. Jack Colyer was awarded the win in 3.2 innings of work, while John Griffin tossed 2.2 innings of scoreless relief. Dan Kellechan, Erislandy Rives and Landon White also appeared in the game.

Roger Williams was able to hold back the offense of Keene State on Wednesday, 7-2, in non-conference action against the Owls on Paolino Field. Lucas Lariviere took the mound for the Hawks, going seven innings of two hit ball with seven strikeouts and a walk. Matt Massaro drove in two runners with 4 hits in five at bats, with one run. Matt Falvey also brought in a runner and Jack Morin added two RBIs with both going 2-for-4.

Adrian hosted Trine in game two of the three-game series. The Bulldogs picked up a big win to tie the series and move to 4-4 in MIAA play. Jakob Charles and Ryan Davis were lights out on the mound for the Bulldogs as Adrian came away with a 5-1 victory. Easton Rogers totaled three RBIs on the afternoon while Charles led the offense with two hits. Charles struck out ten batters in six innings on the mound allowing one run on three hits with a walk. Davis recorded his fourth save of the year after throwing three innings in relief where he allowed on hit and struck out two.

First-year righty pitcher Dylan Scudder pitched a no-hitter for 5 1/3 innings and junior rightfielder Jason Claiborn had four hits as No. 8 nationally-ranked Eastern Connecticut State posted a 7-1 non-conference win over Anna Maria Wednesday afternoon at the Eastern Baseball Stadium. In the longest of his six starts, Eastern's (21-5) Scudder did not allow a hit until Christian Villa's single through the left side on an 0-1 pitch with one out in the sixth, and Anna Maria (13-12) pushed across its only run of the game later in the inning when cleanup hitter Jarrod Marifiote plated Villa with a solid single to center on a two-strike pitch. Scudder (3-1), who lowered his ERA by 0.42 to 3.21, fanned three and walked three in addition to allowing those three sixth-inning hits over the first 5 2/3 innings, while sophomore righty Mike Furgalack, and senior righties Nathan Furino and Andrew José closed out the win by combining on a one-hitter over the final 3 1/3 innings.

Delaware Valley scored nine runs in a span of four innings and held on late for a 9-8 non-conference victory over visiting Widener. The Aggies improved to 10-16 overall while the Pride fell to 14-16. Each team had 11 hits in the game, but Widener committed four errors to just one by DelVal. After a lead-off single by the Pride to start the bottom of the ninth, DelVal called upon first-year Ryan Ness to close the game. He was aided by his catcher Garrett Zimmerman who threw out a would-be stealer at second base and then stranded two runners to end the game and preserve the 9-8 win.

Vassar scored 10 runs in the final four offenisve innings to comeback from a 6-1 deficit to defeat CCNY 11-7 on Wednesday afternoon at Prentiss Field. The Brewers improve to 15-10 overall while the Beavers drop to 6-12 on the season. Freshman Danny Wellner started for Vassar as he threw two-plus innings, allowing three hits, four runs (two earned), four walks and struck out one. Senior Joe Sabo took the win in relief as he tossed 1.1 scoreless innings followed by senior Bryce Grathwohl picking up the save as he tossed three innings, allowing three hits, one run, two walks and struck out five.

Carroll defeated intra-state rival Carthage 7-4 in a College Conference of Illinois-Wisconsin game at Frame Park on Wednesday afternoon. It was the seventh home-field victory of the season for Carroll, which remained tied for first place (with Millikin) in the highly contested conference standings with a 6-1 record and improved to 13-10 overall. The Pioneers, who have advanced to the prestigious CCIW Tournament the last two years, have won nine of their last 12 games and continued to build on their best conference start in program history. Carroll scored five runs on two hits in what became a decisive bottom of the second inning, powered on a two-run home run by Benton Holly and three-run homer by Casey Mir.

For the second straight day, Rochester produced double-digit runs, but it unfortunately wasn't enough as the Yellowjackets dropped a 12-10 non-conference decision to Oswego State on Wednesday evening at Towers Field. The game was a sloppy one all around, as both squads combined for 9 errors on the night along with 14 walks, 4 hit batters, 3 wild pitches and 3 passed balls. Half of the games 22 runs were unearned. Rochester's Aaron Whitley led the home team with a 2-for-2 day at the plate, with both hits being home runs. He had an inside-the-park homer in the third and followed with a more traditional round tripper two innings later. He added three walks and two steals while also scoring four runs for the second straight day.

St. Joseph's (Brooklyn) defeated John Jay College, 15-6, on Wednesday afternoon on Long Island. Sean Schneeberg had a three-hit game with a pair of RBI while Chris Leary batted in three runs and was one of four Bears with two hits. Scoring began in the second inning as the Bears (8-12) plated four runs on three consecutive hits, including a triple from Leary. The visitors were able to tie the contest at six in the fourth but Michael Gardener (Farmingdale, N.Y./Farmingdale) scored on Schneeberg's base knock, placing the Bears in the lead for good, 7-5. An SJBK run scored in the sixth before breaking the game open in the seventh behind a six-run stanza that featured Leary and Gardener's driving in two runs each.

Tufts allowed just five hits while fanning 17 hitters on the night in a 3-1 non-conference road victory at UMass Boston in play from Monan Park Wednesday evening. The 17 strikeouts for the pitching staff was a season-high and was the most for the Jumbos in a game since sitting down 18 Castleton hitters by strikeout back on March 17, 2017. The majority of the strikeout total came from Silas Reed, who piggybacked starter Jack Schwartz to work six strong innings while striking out a career-high 13 hitters. The 13 strikeouts for a single game was the most this season by any Jumbo pitcher, and best since Cameron Mayer punched out 15 on April 22, 2022.

Senior Chris Davis and sophomore Evan Pravato each had run-scoring singles as part of a three-run fifth inning as Stevens defeated No. 21 Misericordia 5-2 Wednesday in a MAC Freedom matchup at Muzzy Field. Sophomore Colby Ching and junior Christian Kreiser each doubled, and Pravato swiped a pair of bases for the Ducks, who improved to 19-9 on the year and to 10-5 in conference action. Stevens moved to within 1.5 games of second-place Misericordia in the conference standings. Gabe Bunn and Connor Maryniak each drove in a run for Misericordia, who saw its 10-game winning streak come to an end in falling to 23-6 on the year and to 11-3 in the MAC Freedom. The Ducks' victory also snapped Misericordia's four-game winning streak in the all-time series.

Washington & Jefferson totaled 26 runs during a Presidents' Athletic Conference doubleheader sweep of Franciscan Wednesday afternoon at Vaccaro Field in Steubenville. The Presidents broke open game one with an eight-run sixth inning in a 11-3 victory. The Red and Black concluded the sweep with a 15-1 win over the Barons in game two. In the opener, W&J broke out in a big way in the top of the sixth inning. The Red and Black put up a crooked number as eight runs scored on eight hits in the frame. Franciscan tallied the final two runs of the game but W&J picked up the comfortbale eight-run win. The Presidents did what they needed to do to complete the sweep in game two. The Red and Black scored two runs in the first and added eight more in the second to put things away early.

Williams posted a 16-2 win on the road over the now 16-7 Skidmore College Thoroughbreds. Williams sophomore Max Heart took the win after pitching a phenomenal 5 innings, fueling the Ephs win. Hart finished the game allowing just a single earned run with a pair of strikeouts. Taking the loss was Matt Karpousis who pitched 2 innings and gave up 2 earned runs. Williams hitters had themselves a day, finishing with an astounding eleven different scorers contributing to the win. The Ephs opened the game strong as the first three hitters all made it home safely. Matthew Brown scored the fourth run for the Ephs. Skidmore's Jackson Hornung hit a home run to left center, getting the Thoroughbreds on the board. Skidmore's 1 run would hang on the scoreboard until the ninth inning.

Ty Weatherspoon twirled eight strong innings and the Yeomen offense did just enough to lift Oberlin to a 4-3 win over the visiting Case Western Reserve Spartans on Wednesday afternoon at Dill Field. Weatherspoon (2-0) was masterful in notching his second win of the season as he scattered six hits and five walks over 107 pitches of work. The right-hander from Amherst, Ohio, struckout two, inducing 14 fly ball outs and seven ground ball outs along the way as just two of the three runs he was tagged with were earned. The Yeomen had just six hits in the contest with Max Anastasio leading the way with two. The victory snapped an eight-game losing streak against the Spartans with the previous Yeomen win coming nearly 10 years ago to the day on April 17, 2013 in the form of a 5-2 Oberlin triumph.

Scoring early and often, North Central College used a 15-run performance to cruise past North Park, 15-4 on Wednesday afternoon at Zimmerman Stadium. Joe Hamilton led all batters with four hits, three runs, and three RBI's while Cole Gregorio drove in three runs on three hits with two runs scored. Ten batters for the Cardinals recorded at least one hit while eight tallied at least one RBI. AJ Kutcher improved to 4-0 on the year with the win today. He threw five innings with four strikeouts and just one earned run.

Second-ranked Salisbury eclipsed 20 runs for the third time this season on the way to winning its 11th straight game, 27-5 in seven innings, over the Stevenson Mustangs on Wednesday afternoon at Sugar Field. A pair of seven run innings in the sixth and seventh innings cemented the win for Salisbury. Jacob Ference delivered his third multi-homer game of the season, finishing 3-for-4 with two bombs, four runs and four RBIs. Ference is now tied with Danny Sheeler for the team lead with nine dingers. Brock Hilligoss tossed two scoreless one-hit innings, striking out four batters, while Corey Burton and Mitchell Wittkamp tossed a scoreless sixth and seventh, respectively. Burton set a new Salisbury record by making his 69th career pitching appearance, breaking a tie with Star Kriger '03 for sole possession of the program lead.

Westminster (Pa.) secures a PAC split Wednesday afternoon at Waynesburg, winning game one 9-7 in 10 innings before falling in game two 7-2. In game one, Braeden Campbell singled up the middle in the top of the 10th to score Frankie Manios, who led off the inning with a single, and Brandon Cooper, who reached on a bunt single. With one out Donald Shimko was intentionally walked to load the bases. Junior shortstop Logan Murgenovich drove in the eventual game-winning run after drawing a walk. Waynesburg picked up one run in the bottom of the 10th but it was not enough. Waynesburg got things going early, scoring three runs in the bottom of the first and scored four runs on four hits in the bottom of the fifth to take a commanding 7-2 lead. Gavin Pratt's two-run home run keyed the four-run frame.

Playing their third game in as many days, Nichols powered past non-conference opponent Worcester State on Wednesday by the score of 11-7. With the win, the Bison improve to 8-16 on the season (3-3 CCC), while Worcester State falls to 9-13 (4-2 MASCAC). Johnny Knox, Karl Miller, and Luis Vargas each picked up three hits, with Knox adding four RBI on the grand slam, and Miller three, to pace the Bison offense. Patrick Sawyer and Fields combined for 5.1 scoreless innings out of the bullpen, racking up eight strikeouts in the process, to silence the Lancer bats.

Julien Hernandez tossed seven complete innings for the win, Mateus Conaway picked up a two-inning save and Whitman kept its hopes alive for a spot in the NWC Tournament with a 3-1 win over Whitworth on Wednesday afternoon at Borleske Stadium. The Blues (19-14, 10-11 NWC) entered the game barely on the outside looking in at a spot in the league's postseason tournament and did themselves a big favor with the win over the Pirates. Beck Maguire led the Blues with two hits, two runs and an RBI including a solo homerun that put Whitman ahead for good in the sixth inning. Hernandez (7-1) was solid on the day, pitching seven complete innings while scattering six hits, allowing one run and striking out five hitters.

Bates scored seven times in the bottom of the eighth inning to run away with a 12-5 victory over the University of Maine-Farmington Beavers Wednesday afternoon at Leahey Field. Bates (12-9) stole 13 bases in the victory, the second-most they've recorded in one game this season. The Bobcats lead all of NCAA Division III in steals per game this year and their 103 stolen bases are by far the most in program history. Every Bates hitter reached base at least once in the contest. Jack Brennan led the way, going 3-3 with two runs scored, an RBI and a walk.

Bethany Lutheran exploded for 17 hits on Wednesday afternoon as they defeated Martin Luther 20-0. After a two-run first inning for Bethany and scoreless second, the Viking offense put up seven runs in the third. Bethany had just four hits in the inning but used a pair of walks, an error, and three wild pitches to take a 9-0 lead. The Vikings would put up two more runs in the fourth as Izaak Stevens would hit a double and turn it into an inside the park trot after an error allowed him to round the bases. Bethany would add nine more runs in the final two innings as Reed Brown clubbed a three-run home run in the seventh and Brady Taylor and JT Garcia each got their first collegiate hit in the inning. Eli Fest got his second action on the mound of the season and went five innings for the win, striking out seven and allowing just four hits. Jadrien Keavy came on for the final two innings and allowed just one hit.

Wilmington returned to its winning ways with an 11-9 victory over Indiana University Purdue University Columbus at Tewksbury-Delaney Field on Wednesday afternoon. Up 8-4, the hosts added two more insurance runs in the seventh and one in the eighth. The Quakers would need those runs as the Crimson Pride would plate three runs in the ninth and have the tying run get into scoring position, but Luke Chappie earned a save with a strikeout to end the game. Ernst earned his first win of the season with four strikeouts in three innings to go along with four walks and three earned runs while Chappie tallied his third save of the year. Offensively, Wilmington pounded out 15 hits with Reliford and Kelsey both going 3-for-5. Reliford also stole two bases.
