It took a little longer than expected — and required two separate venues — but Saint Mary's got its Game 1 victory over Carleton nonetheless. Twenty-four hours after rain put Game 1 of SMU's MIAC doubleheader against Carleton on hold with two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning at Max Molock Field, the Cardinals needed all of 10 minutes Monday to seal the 9-3 victory at Carleton's Mel Taube Field. The nightcap was not as favorable for the Cardinals, as the visiting Knights were more than comfortable on their home diamond, scoring in six of the nine innings — including a two-run first and a three-run ninth — as Carleton dealt Saint Mary's a 10-2 setback to earn the conference split.

New Jersey City hosted its final game of the season on Monday as the Gothic Knights hosted Saint Elizabeth University for Senior Day at the Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex. Eleven members of the NJCU baseball class of 2023 were recognized before the game. After, NJCU closed out the season victorious, winning 12-2 in seven innings. the day was also highlighted by a pair of graduates as graduate student Ricky Voss set the all-time program record with the 130th of his career, while senior Paul Tannucilli reached 100 strikeouts for his career.

Carleton split its final MIAC doubleheader of the season, dropping game one to Saint Mary's (Minn.), 9-3, before taking the game two by a 10-2 tally. This was the most unique doubleheader of the Knights' (8-23, 4-16 MIAC) season. The twinbill started at Saint Mary's (15-20, 9-11 MIAC) on Sunday afternoon but finished at Carleton's Mel Taube Field a day later. Heavy rain during the sixth inning of game one led to unplayable field conditions at the Cardinals' Max Malock Field. With the teams forced to resume the games on Monday afternoon, the decision was made to re-locate to the Carleton campus to conclude game one and then play game two. In the second game, Sam Zacks went 5-for-6, becoming the first Knight with a five-hit game since Paul Hinton's 5-for-6 performance at Whittier College on March 22, 2022. Meanwhile, Matthew Karbowski tossed a four-hitter in notching his first career complete game, and his 9.0-inning effort was the longest by a Carleton pitcher since Nolan Baker pitched 9.0 innings against Hamline 3-1 on April 22, 2014.
