Stockton University (13-10, 4-1 NJAC) jumped out to a four-run lead and went on to defeat 11th-ranked Rowan University (13-7, 1-4 NJAC) by a 5-2 score. The Ospreys outhit the Profs 9-7 and stole three bases in the victory. Tony Gatti led the offense as he went 3-5 with a run and a stolen base. Evan Bresnen continued his torrid hitting pace with two safeties for his ninth multi-hit game during his current 10-game hitting streak. Three Osprey pitchers held the Profs in check. Starter Zack McCabe allowed two runs on four hits in 6.1 innings of work for his second win of the season. After Kyle Cipolla tossed 0.2 innings, closer Reece Miller hurled two scoreless frames with three strikeouts and one hit allowed for his fourth save of the season.

After the recent winter storm made Garrity Field unplayable, Norwich travelled down to Johnson & Wales, where they were the designated home team, to take on the reigning Great Northeast Athletic Conference champions. When all was said and done, Norwich had a 3-2 win over J&W. Ingraffia finished with the complete game only permitted two runs (one earned), six hits and two walks, while striking out seven for his second victory of the campaign. At the plate, Geffen Franus finished two for four with an RBI in Norwich's first victory over JWU since 2017.

No. 1 nationally ranked Endicott swept Nichols, 6-2 and 8-3, in Commonwealth Coast Conference doubleheader action at North Field on Sunday afternoon. Trailing 1-0 through five and a half innings, the Endicott offense rallied back with a 4-run frame in the bottom of the sixth to take the lead. The Blue and Green tacked on two more insurance runs in the bottom of the eighth. In the relatively low-scoring affair, the four-run sixth inning was the only run support Jordan Gottesman needed on the afternoon. After he allowed an early earned run in the first, he settled in and retired 13 of the next 14 batters he faced, including a string of 10 Bison retired consecutively between the second and sixth innings. In game two, the Gulls jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead in the opening frame thanks to back-to-back solo shots from Dylan Pacheco and Nicholas Notarangelo. They stretched the lead out to 5-0 by the end of the third inning and two more insurance runs came across in the bottom of the eighth. John Connolly was solid once again for the Gulls, as he tossed 5.1 innings and limited the Bison to just two earned runs.

Case Western Reserve University graduate student catcher Jack Anderson became the fourth player in program history to record 200 career hits as the Spartans completed a four-game sweep of the Brandeis University Judges with a 12-0 win in seven innings at Nobby's Ballpark on Sunday morning. The win extended the Spartans' winning streak to six games, as the team improved to 21-6 overall and 7-1 in University Athletic Association play. Brandeis fell to 4-17 overall with a 0-4 UAA ledger following the setback. Anderson, who went three-for-five in the game with three singles, a run, and an RBI, wasted little time reaching the milestone, accomplishing the feat in the first inning of the game. He joined former Spartans Chad Mullins (2008-11), Matt Keen (2010-13), and Andrew Gronski (2012-15) as the only players in program history to eclipse 200 career hits.

Scranton (15-5) rolled to a third straight win with an 18-4 victory over the Keystone Giants (16-8) in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon at Volpe Field in Scranton. Scranton scored three in the first to take an early lead and broke the game open in the middle innings as a four-run fifth extended the advantage to 8-1. Junior right-hander Dominic Chieffalo made his first career start and gave up just one run on three hits to go along with two walks and a career-high four strikeouts in 4.0 IP. Senior lefty Matt Roda came on in relief of Chieffalo and struck out one over two shutout innings to earn the win.

Vassar salvaged a split in a league doubleheader as the Brewers fell 14-5 in game one against Skidmore followed by a 11 inning 10-9 victory in the second game of the doubleheader. The Brewers improve to 5-15 overall and 3-6 in Liberty League play while Skidmore moves to 12-9 on the season and 5-1 in conference action. In game one, Vassar jumped out to a 2-0 lead but a five spot in the third put Skidmore ahead and another in the eight put the game out of reach of the Brewer hitters. In the nightcap, Vassar took advantage of a Skidmore error and a balk to cut the lead to 9-8 and a RBI single tied the game at nine after six innings. The game was sent to extra innings where senior Ty Murray singled through the middle with two outs to score Silvera to take home a 10-9 victory in 11 innings.

Albright (5-17, 1-10 MAC Commonwealth) earned the doubleheader split this afternoon at home against Stevenson (9-14, 4-7 MAC Commonwealth) picking up their first conference win of the season. Deklyn Mark's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth inning gave the Lions the walk off win over the Mustangs in game two. The win in game two for Albright is the first win over Stevenson for Albright since the 2021 season. The Lions will look to win their first MAC Commonwealth series of the year in tomorrow's nine inning game against the Mustangs. The first game of today's double header went to extra innings after the game was originally scheduled for seven innings. Stevenson tied the game up at 2-2 in the sixth inning and would later go on to win game one after scoring three runs in the top of the ninth inning to win 5-2.

No. 2 nationally ranked Baldwin Wallace University took on Marietta College in an Ohio Athletic Conference doubleheader where they lost the first game by a score of 18-0 and won the second by a score of 7-4 at Schaly Field in Pioneer Park. The BW (20-4, 5-1 OAC) bats were held quiet in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader thanks to dominant pitching from Marietta (11-12, 3-3 OAC), but the Yellow Jackets were able to turn around and take Game 2 for a series split after big performances on both sides of the ball.

Ithaca College split a Liberty League doubleheader with RIT on Sunday and had its eight-game winning streak snapped in Game Two. IC won the opener, 3-2, in 10 innings and fell to RIT in the second game, 5-3. The Bombers are now 16-5 on the season and 7-1 in the Liberty League. IC and RIT got locked into another low-scoring contest to open Sunday's doubleheader as the Bombers would eventually prevail, 3-2, in 10 innings. In the bottom of the 10th, Ethan Rothstein led off with a single and then moved up on an error off the bat of Brawdy. Both runners moved up on a wild pitch, but Rothstein would then be thrown out at home on a ground ball to short by Connor Pedersen. After a strikeout, Fabbo ended the game with a double to right. In a close game two, the Tigers finally came through in the top of the ninth with two runs to take a 5-3 lead and eventually won the contest. RIT's first two batters reached on base hits and then moved up on a passed ball. Both runs came home on a single up the middle with no outs.

Catholic right-hander Cody Bosak pitched the game of his life, tossing a complete game shutout against the Drew Rangers as the Cardinals closed out a series sweep with a 5-0 victory this afternoon. Bosak went the distance, allowing just two hits and walking two batters while striking out 14 Ranger batters. The junior became the second Catholic pitcher to surpass 100 career strikeouts this weekend as he now sits with 105 in 102.2 career innings. Bosak has struck out 28 batters in just 19.1 innings in 2024. Offensively, Catholic totaled nine hits with Steve Thomas, Mitchel Johnson, and Logan Eilbacher combining for seven of them. Thomas led the way with three, giving him three three-hit games and 11 multi-hit games this season. Eilbacher capped off a career weekend with his second home run of the weekend and third of the season. The freshman is red hot as of late, raising his average to .364 as he rides a seven-game hitting streak. Eilbacher has multiple hits in four straight contests and has driven in 10 runs during his hit streak.

The St. Joseph's University (L.I.) picked up a pair of Skyline Conference wins against SUNY Purchase at Gregg Alfano Field on Sunday afternoon. The Golden Eagles shut out the Panthers 5-0 in game one before an 11-1 win in game two. In the openerm junior AJ Joya finished 2-for-2 with a double, a triple, and three RBIs. Senior starter Peter Manger tossed a complete game shutout scattering eight hits while striking out three. Game two was led offensively by Anselmo Joya who finished 2-for-2 with a double, and a triple with two runs scored and an RBI. Sophomore Marco Gullo went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and a run scored. SJLI Starter Jack Kelly earned the win going the distance allowing just one run on four hits with seven strikeouts.

Roanoke College split an Old Dominion Athletic Conference doubleheader Sunday at No. 7 Shenandoah University, dropping the first game 3-2 but rebounding for a 7-3 win in game two. The Maroons are tied for first place in the ODAC with Randolph-Macon College, each with 10-2 conference records. In game one Jacob Bell went eight strong innings in his start on the hill for Shenandoah, scattering five hits with two earned runs and seven strikeouts. Joey Mitchell got the win with a 1-2-3 inning in the ninth. Jackson Murphy earned the win on the mound for Rioamoke in game two, working seven innings and allowing nine hits, no walks and two earned runs with six strikeouts.

Elizabethtown got back in action, Sunday afternoon as they swept Lycoming, 8-5 and 5-3 (10 inn.). The Blue Jays opened up April by getting started early in the first, scoring three runs. The scoring continued for the Blue Jays in the fifth and eighth as they piled on four more runs to ensure their 8-5 win over Lycoming. Justin Peterson grabbed the win on the mound, pitching three innings while striking out four. Both teams were slow to start in game two on the day as the game was scoreless until the fourth inning when Etown took a lead. Lycoming came back to tie up the game at 3-3 in the seventh. After nine innings, the two teams remained tied at 3-3 which would force extra innings. Etown got things going in the 10th as David Woolley reached first on an error. Quinten Perilli singled through the right side to advance Woolley to third. Bryce Keller hit a 2-RBI single up the middle to bring home Woolley and Perilli. Zach Silfies picked up his fourth win of the season as he struck out six in three innings.

St. Joseph's University (Brooklyn) earned a pair of victories over Yeshiva University, 22-2 and 25-1, on Sunday afternoon. The Maccabees scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the first before the Bears reduced the edge in half in the second and tacked on three runs in the third to hold a 4-2 advantage. Michael Gardener and Anthony Faggiano combined for four RBI in the Bears' 10-run top of the fifth to possess a commanding 14-2 lead. Eight runs over the next two innings sealed the navy and gray's 22-2 result. On the bump, rookie Brian Sanchez hurled a complete game; striking out eight while allowing three hits and as many walks. Gardener and Miguel Toribio each had RBI hits in the first to give SJBK an early 4-0 lead; growing to 11-0 in the second behind a two-RBI double from Chris Stegmuller and Nick Tapio's single to left later in the stanza. Faggiano and Sanchez came up with RBI singles in the fourth. It was then followed by an eight-run fifth inning as the Bears crossed the 20-run threshold for the second time in the twinbill. The Maccabees got on the board in the bottom of the sixth as St. Joseph's took game two, 25-1.

Hobart won both games of a doubleheader against St. Lawrence this afternoon, sweeping the three-game series with the Saints. The Statesmen won Game 1 with a dramatic walkoff home run in the bottom of the 10th inning and took Game 2 6-2. Hobart got strong starts in both games with first-year Trevor Kimball throwing six innings and striking out seven while allowing two unearned runs in the opener and junior Griffin Snyder allowing just two runs in seven innings, earning the win in the finale. Reliever Nicholas Franceschi won Game 1 allowing just one hit over the final 2 2-3 innings. Sean Garvin had hits in both games today, extending his team best hitting streak to seven games. Christian Petry reached base safely in both games, extending his streak to 23 games. He tripled in Game 1 and drew a walk in Game 2.

Cortland starting pitchers Devin Georgetti and Will McCarthy each turned in solid performances as the Red Dragons swept visiting Brockport, 5-3 and 3-1, in a SUNYAC doubleheader. Cortland extended its winning streak to nine games and is now 15-8-1 overall and 9-0 in the SUNYAC. Brockport fell to 13-7 overall and 3-3 in the league. Georgetti gave up nine hits, struck out 11 batters and didn't walk anyone in eight innings. He allowed three runs, but only one after the second inning. McCarthy allowed four hits and one run in his eight frames with six strikeouts and no walks. Both pitchers improved to 2-1 on the season with their victories.

DeSales University got a 5-4 walkoff win in game one and an 8-2 win in game two completing a weekend sweep of FDU-Florham winning both ends of a MAC Freedom doubleheader on Sunday afternoon at Weiland Park. FDU tied game one at two in the third inning and led 4-3 entering the bottom of the seventh inning. After a leadoff walk, error on a sacrific bunt, and a bunt single, DeSales has the bases loaded no outs. The Devils got the first out at the plate. Junior Justin DeStaso then tied the game at four on a sacrifice fly to centerfield. On the play, FDU threw the ball away trying to get sophomore JT Anderosky at second base, moving up from first base on the relay and sophomore John Rorick walked home with the winning run. The Devils led again in game two and FDU tied the game at two in the fourth but the Bulldogs answered with four runs in the bottom of the fourth, taking advantage of six FDU walks in the inning. The pitching staff held FDU scoreless the rest of the way to complete the sweep.

Keuka College worked 13 walks, one off the program record, in a 15-2 Empire 8 victory over Houghton University on Sunday. Keuka College (3-14, 2-2 Empire 8) scored their 15 runs on five hits on Sunday, with Tyler Lewandowski leading the way with a pair of hits. Tanner Olson went the distance on the mound, getting the complete game victory for the Wolves. The Wolves essentially put the game away in the second inning. The Wolves plated nine runs in the second to take a 12-0 advantage. Tyler Lewandowski delivered a big hit in the inning with a two-run double. The double would be Keuka's only hit in the nine-run frame. Keuka College scored on sacrifice flies, sacrifice bunts, wild pitches, and errors in the inning. Olson allowed nine hits but limited the damage with just two runs against the Highlanders. Keuka added three more runs in the fifth. Vacarro walked and RJ Murphy followed with a single. They both scored on a single by Brady Booher followed by a pair of errors by the Highlanders. Booher would end up scoring on the play to make it 15-2. Olson closed out the win with a pair of strikeouts in the seventh as the Wolves earned their second Empire 8 Conference win of the season.

York College salvaged a split in a MAC Commonwealth doubleheader against Widener University on a sunny Sunday in York. The Pride dispatched the Spartans 12-3 in the opener before the Green and White managed to avoid the sweep with an 11-6 victory in the nightcap. The Spartans are now 16-7 overall and 8-4 in the league while the Pride are 10-14 and 6-6 in the conference. The Pride won two out of three games to win the series. The Pride carried over the momentum of Saturday's 8-6 win as they smacked the Spartans early with a six run second inning to seize control early on. The six runs came on four hits and three Spartan errors as the York defense was shaky all day. In addition to the hits and errors, the Spartans walked two in the inning as they found themselves in a giant hole. The Spartans jumped out early in game two with a two spot in the bottom of the first but really woke up in the fourth as they put together their biggest inning of the weekend with five runs on four hits and an error to take the 8-3 lead. Widener got single runs in the eighth and ninth inning to provide for the final five run Spartan margin of victory.

After two games to forget, Pacific got the bad taste out of its mouth Sunday afternoon with a 19-9 victory over Willamette at Chuck Bafaro Stadium in Forest Grove. Shut out for the first four innings, the Boxers bats exploded with 18 runs in the bottom of the fifth to take a commanding 18-2 lead. Pacific took advantage of three errors in the frame. CJ Colyer hit a two-run homer, his 12th of the season, and doubled to left field to drive in two more runs. With the bases loaded, Jake Gallagher cleared the bases with a double to center field. Dawson Tokishi went 3-for-4 with a double, three runs, two RBIs, a walk and two stolen bases. Ty Yukumoto finished 3-for-6 with two runs, two RBIs and a stolen base. Walker Matthews was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs. Miles Bergman went 2-for-4 with a walk, two runs and two RBIs. The Boxers had 15 hits. Vincent Lagatta (1-1) earned the win on the mound, pitching three innings in relief.

Rivier fended off an Elms comeback bid in the late going of Sunday afternoon's Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup at Mackenzie Stadium to hang on for an 8-7 victory. Rivier took a 4-0 lead into the bottom of the fifth before Elms broke the shutout bid with a sacrifice fly to make it a three-run game. Nate Bonacorsi threw five innings, allowing four hits, one run, and a walk while striking out three Blazers batters. The Raiders regained their four-run lead in the next frame as heads-up baserunning from Kyle Hsu allowed him to score on a passed ball. The Blazers put up two runs in the bottom half to make it 5-3 heading into the seventh. Dylan Aliberti's sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh made it 6-3 before a two-run top of the eighth made it 8-3. In the bottom half, Elms put together a four-run rally to cut the deficit to one run, but Ty Baker came in to close the door in the final 1.1 innings to secure the victory. JD Normand finished 3-for-5, scoring twice while knocking in three RBI, thanks in part to a solo shot in the second. Luis Colon went 2-for-4 with a walk, scoring three runs. Bonacorsi earned his second win of the campaign while Baker recorded his second save.

Hanover College (16-8, 7-2 HCAC) completed the sweep of Franklin College (13-9, 4-5 HCAC), winning 8-0, in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action on Sunday to finish out the home series against their rival. Sophomore John Girard shut out the Grizzlies to give him his second win of the year. He allowed only three hits and struck out 11 in eight complete innings. After three innings the Panthers were up 3-0 with two runs coming from walks and another run scoring on a fielder's choice hit by junior Reid Douglas. The Red and Blue added insurance runs in the sixth inning thanks to an RBI double by senior Connor Farnsley and junior Andrew Oesterling. The final two runs of the game came in the eighth inning with Douglas providing an RBI groundout and Oesterling hitting a sacrifice fly.

Mitchell College remained unbeaten in Great Northeast Athletic Conference play by holding off Anna Maria College 8-5 on Sunday afternoon an Alumni Field. Sophomore right handed pitcher Jacob Quiles got the start for the Mariners on the mound and picked up his fourth win of the season, allowing three runs across six and one third innings of work. Junior Jadan Canelli came out of the bullpen and tossed two innings of two-run ball, while senior Camren Varney recorded the final two outs of the ball game. Mitchell senior Cole Lalli led the offensive charge, finishing 3-4 with two doubles and four RBI, including a three-run double in the top of the sixth inning which snapped a 2-2 tie. Fellow seniors Angel Galindez and Michael Gajda, along with freshman Michael Ficocelli each also collected two hits and one RBI, while sophomore Adam Vartanian went 1-4 with one RBI and a run scored.

Allegheny College split a home doubleheader against Grove City College on a sunny Sunday afternoon at Robert M. Garbark Field. The Gators (12-7, 4-2 PAC) took the opening game from the Wolverines (11-9, 2-2 PAC) by a 9-4 score, but were shut out in the nightcap in an 8-0 loss. It was an ominous beginning to the early game, as Grove City's Sam Bevin took the first pitch and went yard for an early 1-0 lead. However, following the home run, Brent Herrmann retired the next 17 batters he faced and did not allow a baserunner until the sixth inning. The Wolverines scored three runs in the top of the seventh, which finally chased the senior southpaw from the mound. But the lead didn't last long. In the home half of the seventh, the Gators loaded the bases with only one out. A bases-loaded hit-by-pitch forced home the tying run, and JD Robinson took the lead with a two-run double in the next at-bat. The Gators scored nine runs on 11 hits in the first game but could not solve Grove City's Evan Umland in the nightcap. Umland limited the Blue and Gold to five hits and did not allow a run in 7.0 innings on the mound.


U.S. Merchant Marine Academy extended its winning streak to eight games with a doubleheader sweep against the Farmingdale State Rams in Kings Point this afternoon. With a 1-0 win in Game 1 and an 8-6 victory in Game 2, the Mariners improved to 12-8 (4-0 Skyline) while the Rams dropped to 9-9 (3-3 Skyline) in defeat. Game 1 was a tale of pitching and defense as senior Tyler Reistetter tossed a seven-inning complete game shutout. Reistetter outdueled Farmingdale State's Roman Dorosh to improve to 5-1 on the season with a microscopic 1.05 ERA. Game 2 was the exact opposite of Game 1 as offense stole the show in the nine-inning affair. After an early pitchers' duel between sophomore Ryan Felton and Derek Watts early on, the offenses took over for the final six and half innings. After the Rams roared back with four runs in the eighth inning to cut the deficit to 7-6, junior Garrett Clapsaddle was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded for a huge insurance run. Leading 8-6 in the ninth inning, sophomore Caden Pierce nailed down the five-out save for his fourth save of the season. Lippert earned the win in relief to improve to 2-0 on the season while Watts suffered his first loss to fall to 3-1 on the year.

WPI swept a doubleheader against visiting MIT on Sunday afternoon at Clark University.The Worcester Engineers took game one, 6-4, and grabbed the nightcap, 15-6. WPI improves to 15-7 overall, 3-1 in NEWMAC play, while MIT falls to 8-12 overall, 0-6 in the NEWMAC. The hosts eked out a two-run victory in game one, backed by a strong outing from Owen Radcliffe, while in game two, the Engineers' bats did the heavy lifting, pounding out 15 hits, to win big in the nightcap.

Misericordia opened its series with Lebanon Valley by taking a doubleheader, Sunday at Tambur Field. The Cougars won 5-1, 14-8 to extend their win streak to nine straight. In the opener, Joe Valenti tossed a four-hitter and held the Dutchmen scoreless until the seventh inning. Gabe Bunn had two hits and two RBI and Jason Sanfilippo and Joe Comins both added RBI. Comins had four hits in the nightcap and Brock Bollinger drove in five Justin Calvarese worked 3.2 innings of relief to earn the win. In game two, Lebanon Valley scored three times in each of the first two innings to take an early lead. Gabe Bunn doubled in a run and scored on an error to get the Cougars within 6-5 in the third inning. Garrett McIlhenney was hit by pitch to put the Cougars ahead in the fifth and Bollinger made it 10-6 with a bases-loaded triple to right center. Maryniak reached on a fielder's choice and later scored on Comin's two-out single to right. McIlhenney walked to start the seventh and later scored on a throwing error and Maryniak gave the Cougars a 13-7 lead with a sac fly. McIlhenney added sac fly in the eighth for the final run.

Brevard College (16-10, 9-3 USA South) used 12 runs on 16 hits with two home runs to power past Methodist University (15-15, 7-5 USAS) on Sunday afternoon at Gil Coan Field. Sunday's winning effort gives the Tornados four USA South series victories, as BC sits currently tied atop the conference standings at 9-3 with three USA South sets left to go in the 2024 regular season. Colson Miller, who got the start at first base for the Tornados on Sunday, delivered in a big way with a 3-for-5 outing that included a solo home run and a RBI double. The home run marked the first of his Tornado career. Blake Altschuler (4-1) earned his fourth victory of the season behind a five and two-thirds inning outing with nine hits and four earned runs allowed. Matthew Evans hurled two and a third innings of one-run ball, while Ethan Coleman worked the ninth inning for the Tornados.

Linfield earned its first Northwest Conference series victory of the season after taking the series finale 4-0 over George Fox at Roy Helser Field on Sunday afternoon. Jacob Swenson (2-1) pitched over seven innings in his third consecutive start and earned his second win. Nick Holm extended his streak of hits in consecutive Northwest Conference games to six. Offensively, Holm, Danny Kahn and Declan Francis each recorded an RBI while Matthew Lewis and Elijah Maris both came across to score twice. Brian Mannion recorded his second save after pitching the final inning and a third in relief and striking out three Bruins. Linfield (11-15, 6-8 NWC) had six total batters hit by pitch.

Rochester completed a weekend three-game sweep over Clarkson, winning 9-6 on Sunday afternoon at MCC's Baseball Complex. For the second straight game, Mark Aaronson closed out the victory in the ninth inning, pitching around a 1-out single to preserve the 9-6 win. Aaronson's save was the 13th of his career, tying John Fishback '08 for the Rochester all-time record. The junior right hander set the UR single-season record last season with 11 saves. On the mound, Magnus Sivertson picked up the win tossing three scoreless innings. He allowed four hits and struck out six. Zach Herzog also pitched well out of the bullpen going two innings without allowing a run. Sammy Rosenfield pitched the seventh and eighth inning before Aaronson locked up the win.
