Day 4: Bracket Championships

Johns Hopkins got their first loss of the tournament and will have to play Baldwin Wallace in game three today with the winner headed to the D3 Championship Series.

The bracket championship games are here, lets play two - well maybe three or four.

We are guaranteed a third game after Baldwin Wallace defeated Johns Hopkins 6-3 to force the if-needed game for bracket one. The story of game eleven was Kade Swisher who pitched a complete game and Vincent Capolupo made a game saving catch in the eight inning with the bases loaded. In the rematch, the tables were turned as Johns Hopkins took the early lead and had the hot pitcher. The Blue Jays defeated the Yellow Jackets 8-2.

Lynchburg dominated  East Texas Baptist in the bracket two championshi game. The Hornets defeated the Tigers 7-1. Lynchburg pitcher Wes Arrington pitched the second consecutive complete game for the Hornets in the DIII World Series.
