The top pitchers are resting for a game later this week and today we could see the offenses dominate. Whom ever gets their bats going will likely find a spot in tomorrow's bracket championship games.

Baldwin Wallace got the memo. They sent eleven batters to the plate in the top of the first inning in grab a 7-0 lead in their elimination game with Misericordia. The Yellow Jackets needed a mid-game surge to dampen the fire of a Misericordia comeback attempt, winning 13-9. They advance to play Johns Hopkins on Monday for the bracket one championship and a spot in the D3 Championship Series.

After a lengthy delay, game two got underway. We can understand getting a sence of Deja Vu as Salisbury opens strong with a 6-0 first inning but it turned out not to be enough as East Texas Baptist came storming back on the strength of a three home run night to take a 21-7 win and eliminate Salisbury for the first time in bracket play in three years.
