DOVER, Del. - Wesley College's DJ Keckler (Fallston, Md./Fallston) tossed a four-hit shutout in the opener as the Wolverines won 2-0, but St. Mary's scored three runs in top of the seventh in game two to earn the split with a 4-3 win.

In game one, Wesley (14-3, 2-2 CAC) got on the board in the third when Billy Crowe (Newark, Del./Salesianum) walked to lead off the inning and came home on an RBI double by Rob Benedict (Drexel Hill, Pa./Monsignor Bonner).

The Wolveirnes added another run in the fourth when Geoff Kimmel (Lawrenceville, N.J./Lawrence) and Bryan Reshetar (Newark, Del./Hodgson Vo-Tech) singled and Steve Perone (Skillman, N.J./Montogomery) walked to load the bases.  Corey Jefferson (Wilmington, Del./Archmere) followed with another walk that forced Kimmel home for a 2-0 lead.

Reshetar capped the scoring in the sixth with a solo homer to right, his second of the year.

Keckler, meanwhile, kept the Seahawks (10-8, 3-5 CAC) off balance all afternoon, allowing just four hits.  He struck out four, including St. Mary's third and fourth hitters looking to end the game.

It was the junior's third career shutout.

Reshetar had three hits in the game, including his home run.

Cory Napier and Stefano Muscatelli had two hits apiece for the Seahawks.

Devon Jerrard took a complete game loss, his first of the year.

In the nightcap, Wesley carried a 2-1 lead into the seventh, but a two-run double by Napier put the Seahawks on top and Keith Johnson added a sacrifice fly later in the inning to make it 4-2.

Kevin Murphy (Middletown, Md./Middletown) led off the bottom of the seventh with his second homer of the season to cut it to 4-3.  Pinch hitter Morgan Rupp (Mount Joy, Pa./Donegal) walked with two outs to bring the winning run to the plate, but Wick Eisenberg forced a pop up to end the game.

Murphy was 3-for-3 in the game with a single, a double and a home run.  Kimmel and Perone had two hits apiece for the Wolverines.

Ryan Doran (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) allowed three earned runs in 6.1 innings of work, but took the loss.  He struck out five, walked two and gave up six hits.

Eisenberg picked up the win with two innings of relief work.

The Wolverines and Seahawks finish the season series with a single game at St. Mary's on March 13.
