HITTER OF THE WEEK
Seth Mogavero, 2B, Jr., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Mary Hardin-Baylor junior second baseman Seth Mogavero (Robinson, TX / RHS) went 7-for-18 with three home runs, a double and four RBIs over four games, including winning a three-game road series against East Texas Baptist. Mogavero also scored four runs, walked twice and stole four bases. He hit a homer in the final two games against ETBU.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Troy Nicholson, RHP, So., Hardin-Simmons
Hardin-Simmons sophomore right-hander Troy Nicholson (Lubbock, TX / Monterey HS) tossed a complete-game shutout in a 5-0 road win against Mississippi College. Nicholson scattered seven hits and struck out four batters without issuing a walk. He also worked 2/3 of an inning without allowing a run in a win against Southwestern, a game in which he also hit two home runs and drove in six runs at the plate.
EAST DIVISION
HITTER OF THE WEEK
Cayden Cunniff, C, Jr., East Texas Baptist
East Texas Baptist junior catcher Cayden Cunniff (Joshua, TX / JHS) went 4-for-8 with two home runs, including one in walk-off fashion, and six RBIs over three games. Cunniff drilled a two-out, three-run homer in the bottom of the seventh to give the Tigers a 6-5 win over Mary Hardin-Baylor. In the series, Cunniff also scored three runs.

Jeffrey Works, RHP, So., Ozarks
Ozarks sophomore right-hander Jeffrey Works (Fordyce, AR / FHS) tossed his second complete-game in as many starts, this time in a 5-1 win in the series-opener against Schreiner. Works scattered six hits and struck out five batters without issuing a walk. His other complete-game came a week earlier against Simpson, also a win in which he allowed just one run.

HITTERS: Texas Lutheran DH Derek Kansas went 8-for-15 with a homer in a three-game sweep of LeTourneau. . . . Hardin-Simmons OF Andrew Rehling went 6-for-17 with a double over four games. . . . Concordia Texas OF Brent Schaekel went 5-for-11 over three games, extending his hitting streak to 19 games. . . . Howard Payne SS Sam Dollahite went 6-for-13 with four RBIs over three games. . . . Texas-Dallas OF Chase Brown went 7-for-14 with a homer, triple and double over four games, including a series sweep of Sul Ross State. . . . Ozarks 1B Tony Morales went 7-for-18 with three doubles and six RBIs over four games. . . . Louisiana College SS Jordan Marks went 6-for-19 with a homer, three doubles and five RBIs over five games. . . . Mississippi College OF Jeremy Simmons went 5-for-10 with two doubles over three games. . . . LeTourneau OF Andrew Doerrfeld went 8-for-18 with four RBIs and three stolen bases over five games.
PITCHERS: Texas Lutheran RHP Jeff Spillane tossed 6 2/3 scoreless inning with seven strikeouts to beat LeTourneau. . . . Mary Hardin-Baylor RHP Chance Ryan allowed just one run and struck out 14 batters over 9 1/3 innings that spanned a winning start and a relief appearance. . . . Concordia Texas RHP Scott Weinschenk threw four scoreless innings out of the bullpen to earn the win against Texas-Tyler. . . . Howard Payne RHP Jonathan Morris earned the win over Louisiana College by allowing just two runs without a walk over 7 2/3 innings. . . . Louisiana College LHP Dustin Fulks earned a win and struck out 10 batters over seven innings that spanned two outings. . . . Mississippi College LHP Ryan Glover went the distance in a 9-1 win over Hardin-Simmons, scattering four hits. . . . Texas-Dallas RHP Derek Dallas hurled seven scoreless innings with six strikeouts in a win over SRSU. . . . LeTourneau LHP Ray Whitley allowed just one run over six innings in a win against Castleton State.
