AUBURNDALE, Fla. – The Edgewood College baseball team's second day at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational featured a thrilling ninth inning comeback, but the Eagles were still unable to crack the win column. Against Washington College, the Eagles trailed 6-1 heading into the ninth inning, but Alex Jaskulski led off with a ringing double. Eric Curtis then hammered a pitch into right-center field for an RBI triple to cut the lead to 6-2. After an out and a pair of walks, Ryan Walker's ground ball eluded Shoremen shortstop Ryan Normoyle for an error allowing two runs to score. Brad Clark drove in another run with an RBI groundout to make the score 6-5 and set the stage for Ryan O'Dell. The sophomore third baseman delivered a single to left field to score Walker from second and send the game into extra innings.

The Shoremen's John Rolewicz singled and moved over to second on a sacrifice bunt. Right fielder Ian Remington then ended the game with an RBI single up the middle for the 7-6 victory.
