Baruch Improves to 5-1 in CUNYAC, Sweep Lehman on Senior Day

The Baruch College Bearcats celebrated Senior Day by sweeping the Lightning of Lehman College (7-4, 4-3) in a CUNYAC home doubleheader at MCU Park on Coney Island.

Prior to the game, the team honored seniors
Matthew Balloneand Joseph Califor their years of service to the baseball program.

The Bearcats received a complete game, 10 strikeout pitching performance from
Cameron Kittin the 7-4 opening win at the home of the Brooklyn Cyclones.

Jasdeep Buttarhad the hot bat going 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. Edwin Saint-Hilairewas also perfect batting 3-for-3, with two RBI.

In the second game, Saint-Hilaire continued his outstanding day by walking with the bases loaded to plate Buttar for the 4-3 victory in eight innings. Hilaire finished the second game batting 2-for-3, with an RBI and run scored.
Matthew Faziogot the no decision with nine strikeouts.
