Hoboken, N.J. – Stevens Institute of Technology walked off with a 3-2 win over Keystone College in a hard-fought non-conference baseball game Tuesday night at Dobbelaar Field.  The Ducks lift their overall record to 25-13 on the spring while the Giants, who are currently ranked 22nd in the country, slide to 27-9 on the year.

Stevens took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning of Tuesday night's contest on an RBI single by Zeph Walters and the hosts held the lead until the fifth inning when Keystone leveled the score at one-apiece.

Julian Lanfranco (Brooklyn, NY/Xaverian) drew a two-out walk, stole both second and third, and came home on a wild pitch to bring the Giants level at 1-1 in the top of the fifth, but the Ducks went back in front in the home half of the frame on an RBI base hit off of the bat of Garrett Wells to make the score 2-1 in favor of the hosts.

In the visitor's eighth, Randy Torres (Bronx, NY/All Hallows) hit a one-out double to center field and advanced to third on an infield single by Brandon Eady (Bowie, MD/DeMatha Catholic) to put runners on the corners for Keystone.  Chris Triano (Greenwich, CT/Rye) brought home Torres with the tying run on a single to knot the game up at 2-2.

Stevens looked to go ahead in the bottom of the eighth inning, but Triano threw a Ducks' runner out at the plate from left field who was attempting to score from second on a base hit.

Carlos Leon led off the bottom of the ninth inning with a ground-rule double for the Ducks and following a walk the hosts put runners on second and third with a sacrifice bunt.  The Giants then issued an intentional walk to load the bases with one out and Yeison Andujar (Carolina, PR/Programa Educativo Alcance) pitched Keystone out of the jam by getting a strikeout followed by a groundout to send the game to extra innings.

Neither team was able to plate a run over the next three and a half innings before the Ducks put runners on the corners with one out in the bottom of the 12th inning before Nick Sieber ended the game with an infield single that brought home Jonathan Toro with the game-winning run.

Stevens starter Robert Robbins was charged with one run on one hit and five walks in 4.2 innings before turning the ball over to Danny McIntyre, who struck out the only batter he faced.  Jayson Yano picked up the win after going seven strong innings in relief with one run against one four hits to go along with a game-high seven strikeouts.

Michael Mule' had three hits while Sieber and Walters had two hits apiece for the Ducks, who outhit the visitors by a 9-5 margin on the night.

Keystone starting pitcher Billy Nelson (Moscow, PA/North Pocono) allowed two runs on just three hits while striking out five batters in five innings on the bump before giving way to Danny O'Neill (Lake Hiawatha, NJ/St. Mary's Rutherford), who tossed 3.1 scoreless frames with three K's and three hits against.  Andujar took the loss after surrendering the game-winning run while fanning five and allowing three hits in three innings.

Eady led the Giants with a pair of hits while Torres, Triano, and Austin Chaszar (Bordentown, NJ/Bordentown Regional) accounted for the visitor's three other hits on the night.

Keystone is scheduled to play its final non-conference game of the regular season tomorrow against the University of Scranton at PNC Field.  First pitch is set to be thrown at 5:00 p.m. in Moosic, Pennsylvania.
