Keystone doubles up the Bison, 10-5

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. – The Nichols College baseball team fell 10-5 to Keystone College in non-conference action Thursday afternoon in the Snowbird Classic.
 
The Bison allowed six runs over the first two frames – and drop their third game in a row after starting the season 4-0.
 
Junior Nick Roy (Middletown, Conn.) finished the game 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI while freshman Kyle Bouchard (Fall River, Mass.) scored a pair of runs to lead the Bison.
 
The Giants were led by sophomore Sebastian De La Cruz (Port Jervis, N.Y.) – who went 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles, four RBI's, and a run scored. Senior Brendan Long (Naples, Fla.) scored four runs on the afternoon from his cleanup position in the lineup.
 
Senior Adam Rigney (Niantic, Conn.) took his first loss of the season after allowing six (five earned) runs through the first two innings of the game on seven hits while walking one.
 
Senior Miguel Reyes (Bronx, N.Y.) pitched seven innings for the Giants and allowed four runs (three earned) on four hits and two walks to earn the win.

This was the third meeting all-time between the Bison and the Giants with Keystone now leading the series at, 3-0.
