ANDERSON, IND. – Senior outfielder Chad Schultz (Fair Oaks, Ind.) and sophomore outfielder Tyler LaFollette (Warsaw, Ind.) each clouted triples, and Schultz added two RBI Tuesday, April 11, at Anderson University's Don Brandon Field, but it wasn't enough to overcome a home team offensive blitzkrieg over the final four innings.

The host Ravens posted 15 runs over the span in route to a 19-5 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference win. After sophomore starting pitcher John Magers (Noblesville, Ind.) danced around five runs on eight hits over the first four frames due to four punch outs, Anderson's offense tagged the Black and Gold's bullpen to the tune of seven earned runs on 14 hits and added seven more tallies due to four visiting side errors.

Freshman third baseman Brandin Frazier (Wabash, Ind.) led the Manchester University hitting attack with two safeties in four at-bats to go along with one run scored and an RBI. Senior designated hitter Lucas Gramman (Lawrenceburg, Ind.) and sophomore shortstop Braxton Riley (Fort Wayne, Ind.) also collected RBI.

The Spartans, falling to 9-15 overall and 6-6 in league play, continue conference action Friday and Saturday, April 14 and 15, hosting Hanover College at Gratz Field. Game times are 4:15 p.m. Friday and 12 p.m. Saturday.
