Patti has Two Hits for #14 R-MC Baseball at York

YORK, Pa. - Senior Jay Patti (Sparks, Md./Hereford) had two of his team's six hits as the 14th-ranked Randolph-Macon baseball team was blanked 5-0 Wednesday afternoon at York.

Junior Cole Migliorini (Stafford, Va./Colonial Forge) and freshman Zach Evans (Fort Mill, S.C./Seneca) both had one hit and one walk for the Yellow Jackets (24-11), who stranded 10. R-MC had at least one baserunner in each inning. The Yellow Jackets left two on in the eighth and one on in each of the other eight innings.

The Spartans (16-17) scored two in the first, one in the second and two in the seventh.

Randolph-Macon travels to Roanoke on Saturday, April 29 for a noon ODAC doubleheader.
