Bearcats Split DH vs John Jay, Honor Seniors Donovan Hunt, Edwin St. Hilaire

The Baruch College Bearcats went on to split a doubleheader against John Jay College on Saturday afternoon, winning game one (7-2) and losing game two (16-3).
 
In the first game, the turning point was in the bottom of the first as the Bearcats scored four runs with Edwin St.Hilaire driving in two with a hit to center field.

The Bearcats won behind a strong pitching performance by Paul Sirakowski , going 6.2 innings with seven strikeouts. Davic Capellan had two hits, including an RBI.
 
In the second game, John Jay scored three runs in the top of the first to quickly take the lead. However, Jacob Auerbach quickly tied it up with a three run homer to left field.

In the end, John Jay won 16-3 behind a strong five-run third inning, which was the turning point of the game. They were able to score five runs behind Jueller Diaz's two-run single to right field.
 
Prior to the game, Head Coach Jose Torres and the team hosted Senior Day for Edwin St. Hilaire and Donovan Hunt to thank them for their years of their service.
