LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University baseball team ran their win streak to nine games while improving to 15-1 in the NACC and 10-0 at home with a sweep of Edgewood.

GAME ONE DETAILS
Following a delay of 1:11 due to consistent rain, the contest started slow with no offense coming until the bottom of the sixth inning
Damen Castillo singled with two outs and moved to second on a wild pitch
Andrew Tenison drew a walk and Cole Wilson singled home the first run
Wilson stole second and Sam Tickel blooped an RBI double to make the score 3-0
Justin Sosa did the rest, further lowering his ERA
Edgewood plated an unearned run in the ninth

GAME ONE LEADERS
Sosa went the distance, striking out 13, a season high and his second double-digit showing of the year
Benedictine finished with just six hits, two of which came from Wilson

GAME TWO DETAILS
Benedictine wasted no time in the second game, jumping on the starter for five runs in the first inning
Tickel led off the game with a double and scored on an RBI single from Ryan Doubek
Kevin Bushnell followed with an RBI single
Wilson and Chase Hanselman added RBI singles while another run scored on an error
The final two runs of the game came in the second to chase the Edgewood starter
Tickel singled with one out and Doubek followed with a walk
With two outs Castillo doubled home a pair
Robbie Dudzinski followed in the footsteps of Sosa by spinning a gem

Two of the hits came from Tickel in the leadoff slot, who also scored twice
Dudzinski won his fifth of the year by striking out 10 in seven innings, allowing just two hits
