Murphy went 4-for-6 with four runs and five RBI, and was just one double short of hitting for the cycle. Tyler Cannon was also 4-for-6 with two runs and two RBI, with Anthony Schooley going 3-for-5 and scoring four runs, with Jason Morgan having a 3-for-6 effort with three runs and two RBI. Pat Defeciani and Chris Curcio had two hits apiece as the Profs scored 20 runs on 20 hits.

Cannon led off the game with a single and Schooley (single) and Dylan Maria (walk) loaded the bases for Murphy, who laced a two-run single to center field. Jason Morgan followed with a single and with a misplay in the outfield, moved the Profs' runners and allowed Maria to score on the throw. Defeciani drew a walk to load the bases and Murphy scored on a wild pitch to put Rowan up 4-0. Curcio laced a two-run double and Cannon followed with his 28th double of the year, the best in the nation, to give the Profs a commanding 7-0 lead.

Rowan added two more in the second when Deficiani doubled to bring home Morgan and Schooley, who had both walked.

The Profs increased the lead to 13-0 in the third as Curcio and Cannon duplicated their feat from the first inning when they hit back-to-back doubles. Schooley got into the act and followed with one of his own to score Cannon, while Murphy drove in another run with a triple to center field, and then scored the final run of the inning on a wild pitch.

Rowan went scoreless until the seventh with Murphy driving in one with a single and Morgan hitting a two-run single. Defeciani had his second double of the game to bring home Morgan and Curcio finished off the scoring with a ground out RBI to hold an 18-0 lead.

The Profs finished off the game with back-to-back home runs to left field by Maria and Murphy. It was Maria's team-high 14th of the year, with Murphy contributing his eighth.
