MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Allegheny College baseball team is well-represented in some of the country's most competitive collegiate summer leagues this year. Summer baseball is commonplace for college baseball players, and as the NCAA Regionals and Super Regionals wrap up, some leagues have begun to play already.

The Prospect League is one of summer baseball's largest leagues, with 17 teams spanning Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania. Playing 58 games with professional scouts regularly in attendance, the Prospect League has sent nearly 200 players to the MLB.
