2011 Playoff Central

The eight regionals in 2011 are to be played at:

New England Regional: Whitehouse Field, Harwich, Mass. (hosted by the ECAC) 
New York Regional: Falcon Park, Auburn, N.Y. (hosted by Cortland State)
Mid-Atlantic Regional: FirstEnergy Park, Lakewood, N.J. (hosted by Kean)
South Regional: USA Stadium, Millington, Tenn. (hosted by Rhodes)
Mideast Regional: Don Schaly Stadium (at Marietta)
Central Regional: Horenberger Field (at Illinois Wesleyan)
Midwest Regional: Prucha Field (at UW-Whitewater)
West Regional: Walt Driggers Field (at McMurry)

The eight regionals will be held from May 18-22 with each regional champion booking a ticket to Appleton, Wis., for the Championship round for the following week.

Who's in the tournament? Starting in April teams started qualifying for the 2011 playoffs. The playoff field consists of 55 teams. The 38 Pool A bids will be awarded through May 15. On May 15, the selection committee decides who gets the 2 Pool B and 15 Pool C bids. Conferences without a season-ending tournament are indicated by an asterisk.

New York Regional: Hosted by Cortland State at Falcon Park (Auburn Doubledays).

South Regional: Hosted by Methodist at Armstrong Shelley Field.

West Regional: Hosted by Linfield at Jim Wright Stadium.
