Austin Blaski, the Most Outstanding Player, was named along with ten other players in the 2011 Division III Baseball Championship All-Tournament Team by the NCAA.

Austin Blaski was dominant on the mound as Marietta defeated Chapman 9-4 in Day 2 of the Division III Baseball Championship. Blaski had eight strikeouts and overcame two errors of his own to advance Marietta to the winners bracket final.

Two elimination games started the day in Appleton, while two teams ended the night 2-0.
UW-Whitewater bounces back to bounce WNEC
The top half of the Warhawks lineup delivered and Jack Lambert shut Western New England down as UW-Whitewater survived with an 8-3 win.

WNEC, Kean in!
WNEC had a five run first inning en route to defeating Bridgewater State 9-0 for a trip to Appleton. In the Mid-Atlantic, Kean forced a winner-take-all game with a 9-4 win over Alvernia in the Mid-Atlantic and followed up with a 7-0 win for the regional crown.
Two tickets left for Appleton
Six tickets to the Championship were punched Saturday, leaving two available. In the New England regional, it is Bridgewater State taking on Western New England and in the Mid-Atlantic, Kean meets Alvernia.
Buena Vista, Keystone win first regional crowns
Buena Vista needed an extra game to win the Central, losing to Carthage before posting a 7-6 win. The Beavers will join Keystone in making their first trip to the Championship round.
Chapman, Marietta, Salisbury, UWW back in finals
UW-Whitewater was the first team to earn a spot in the Championship round and Chapman rallied in the ninth to join them. Marietta was dominant in the Mideast as Salisbury took two games today to advance.
Championships set for four regionals
The South, Mideast, Central, Midwest and West regionals have title tilts on tap for Saturday. The others will have to wait until Sunday for a champion to earn one more double-elimination tournament.
Teams survive with day three wins
UW-Stevens Point and Illinois Wesleyan survived elimination early before facing their regional's lone undefeated. Case had a few hours before a second elimination game with Franklin.

Wheaton, Trinity win with late slams
Dan Gusovsky cleared the bases in the seventh to lead Wheaton (Mass.) against Husson, while Trinity (Texas) slugger Nick Pappas hit one in the ninth to lift the Tigers past Concordia (Texas).
Webster, Catholic deliver stunning upsets
It was a tough day to be a top seed, especially in the South, where Webster blew out No. 2-ranked Christopher Newport, and the Mid-Atlantic, where 23-19 Catholic beat Kean. Day one wrapup.
Arms come through in Midwest Regional
Two games went to extra innings and all three games were decided by a 3-2 score, with Hamline and St. Scholastica's aces going toe-to-toe for 12 innings.
UWW brings graduation to the field
Senior Riley Tincher has hadn't had time to graduate from UW-Whitewater. That's not to say he hasn't put the time in to graduate, just that the left-hander has been busy.
Case reserve gets big pinch hit
Junior backup catcher Peter Zak hit a pinch-hit grand slam in the ninth inning to lead Case Western Reserve to a 5-4 win against Adrian in the clutch performance of day one.

Kohawks win IIAC title, off to NCAA's
Junior Sean Raisch. threw eight scoreless innings on the mound and drove in the game-winning run Sunday, as Coe beat Wartburg 2-1 in the IIAC Championship game.
Carthage wins CCIW tournament
After a day's wait and a change of venue, Carthage won the CCIW on Sunday with an 11-1 win against North Central.
Knights mash their way to Liberty League title
Clarkson was declared the Liberty League tournament champion when rain cause the rest of the tournament to be cancelled. The Golden Knights will gain the conference's automatic bid for the NCAA Tournament.
Rain gives Jumbos title
Rain won out on the final day of the NESCAC Championship, forcing the cancellation of the title game between Bowdoin and Tufts. Tufts was awarded the championship and Pool A playoff bid.
Keystone three-peats in CSAC
For the third consecutive year Keystone is the toast of the CSAC, as the Giants will once again be returning to the NCAA tournament following a 6-3 victory over second seed Gwynedd-Mercy.
Thomas More is PAC Champs again
The 24th-ranked and No. 3 seeded Thomas More Saints No. 4 seeded Westminster, 9-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Tournament championship game at Bob Cene Park in Struthers, Ohio.
Ripon wins 10th championship in 14 years
Ripon dropped the first championship game to Beloit 17-7 in eight innings, but redeemed themselves in a second championship game with an 11-9 victory over the Buccaneers.
Altoona knocks off defending champ to win AMCC
In a do-or-die scenario top-seeded Penn State-Altoona took an early lead and held on to defeat No. 3 seed Penn State-Behrend 8-7, winning its second AMCC baseball title.
Rhode Island knocks off ECSU for title
Kyle Allaire plated the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly in a two-run fifth inning as Rhode Island won the Little East Conference Baseball Tournament with a 7-5 win over top-seeded Eastern Connecticut.
Marietta seniors get elusive title
No. 1 Marietta claimed the 2011 OAC championship and the league's automatic bid to the 2011 NCAA Division III Tournament with a 7-3 victory over Heidelberg.
Franklin claims HCAC title
The Grizzlies took down top-seeded Manchester for the second time in two days to win the Heartland Conference tournament and automatic bid.
Stevens Point earns playoff bid with WIAC title
UW-Stevens Point used a complete game shutout from Joel Delorit and belted out 16 hits against UW-Oshkosh as it cruised to a 10-0 win and the 2011 WIAC tournament championship.
St. Scholastica wins another UMAC title
St. Scholastica walked away with its 15th straight UMAC Tournament title by defeating Bethany Lutheran 26-2. With the title comes the first ever Pool A bid for the UMAC champion.

The NCAA Division III Baseball Committee has released its third and final 2011 regional Rankings, through games of Sunday, May 8.
Mitchell earns first playoff bid with NECC title
Top-seeded Mitchell scored two runs in the eighth inning to take a 3-2 lead and held on to defeat fourth-seeded Southern Vermont in the title game of the 2011 NECC Championship on Wednesday afternoon.
Misericordia to make first playoff appearance
Misericordia is headed to the NCAA tournament for the first time after the Cougars defeated FDU-Florham 9-3, To claim the MACF title.
Offensive explosion gives Catholic title
Catholic won its third Landmark championship in the last four years with a 14-9 victory over Scranton. The Cardinals pounded out 16 hits to earn their first NCAA Tournament bid since 1977.
Kean repeats - on to the regionals
Ken Gregory was 3-for-5 with four RBI as Kean won their second straight NJAC Championship over Rowan, 8-1.
Husson knocks off Berks for NEAC title
Penn State Berks finished runner-up to Husson after a 10-3 setback in the 2011 NEAC Baseball Championship on Saturday afternoon at Castleton State. Husson won the first game 2-1
WNEC beats Endicott twice to capture TCCC title
Top-seeded Western New England defeated Endicott by identical 5-4 scores to capture The Commonwealth Coast Conference Baseball Championship title for the fourth consecutive year.
Concordia (Texas) sweeps through ASC tourney
Justin Beasley went 2-for-3 and drove in two runs to lead the Concordia (Texas) to a 6-4 victory over Texas-Dallas and its second ASC championship.
Bears are MASCAC champs
Joshua Ferreira pitched a complete game and Ian Williams hit a grand slam to power Bridgewater State to a 20-6 victory over Westfield State in the MASCAC championship game.
Cortland escapes tourney with win
Tim Panetta's RBI double broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the seventh and Cortland defeated Brockport, 2-1, in the championship game of the SUNYAC Tournament.
NCAA regionals coming soon
On May 15, the final playoff spots will be awarded and 55 teams will to headed to one of eight regionals held on school sites May 18-22.
Messiah slugs its way to MACC title
Messiah scored three runs in the fourth inning, three more in the fifth and three more in the eighth, taking the league title by virtue of a 11-5 win over rival Elizabethtown.

The Christopher Newport Captains won the 2011 USA South Baseball Championship, with a 5-4 win against top-ranked Shenandoah, their second win in three days against the Hornets.
