Lucas Ilges scattered three hits over nine innings en route to his first career shutout as UMass Boston handed #13 Southern Maine their first conference loss of the season with a 4-0 win at the USM Baseball Field. Ilges was dominant the entire way, striking out five and retiring the first 10 batters he faced to hand the Huskies their first shutout of the season and help the Beacons snap a 5-game Little East Conference losing streak.

Visiting Washington College got a complete game victory from senior pitcher Kyle Aldrich, and the team never trailed, as the Shoremen shocked #3 Johns Hopkins, 7-3, at JHU Baseball Diamond in Centennial Conference action.

Four Pacific pitchers, led by a stellar six-inning performance by Jimmy Brakebush, combined to one-hit Concordia (Ore.) as the Boxers beat the Cavaliers 3-1 at Porter Park. Brakebush earned his first collegiate win in the performance, allowing just one run on one hit, walking three and striking out.  Levi Peterson, Topher Mood and Craig Nesselhuf continued to shut the door, not allowing a hit over the final three innings.  Nesselhuf earned his second save of the year, striking out two of the three batters he faced in the ninth

Keystone sent 15 batters to the plate and scored 10 runs in the eighth inning of a CSAC contest on their way to a 16-7 victory over Cairn, extending their winning streak to nine games.

Case Western Reserve scored a season-high 18 runs in game two as part of a doubleheader split at local-rival John Carroll at Schweickert Field. The Spartans were shut out in the opener, 11-0, but rebounded to take the nightcap, 18-8. With the split, the Spartans have now won 14-of-18 heading into their annual Progressive Field game versus Ohio Northern .

Junior starting pitcher Curtis Randall tossed seven shutout innings and the Frostburg State lineup pounded out 13 hits to take down Lebanon Valley, 10-0, in the Bobcats first game since the CAC conference tournament.

Compiling a total of 23 runs on the afternoon, Oswego State had no trouble dispatching non-conference opponent Cazenovia by scores of 15-1 and 8-0. Seven Laker players had multi-hit games combined in the two contests.

Trailing 7-4, New Jersey City scored three times in the top of the eighth inning to tie it and after Mt. St. Vincent regained a one-run differential, the Gothic Knights countered with three more tallies in the top of the ninth as NJCU overcame the Dolphins, 10-8.

Brandon Winfield's first career complete-game shutout in game one and Matt Bromley's walk-off single in game two led Marian to a Northern Athletics Conference doubleheader sweep over visiting Edgewood at Herr-Baker Field. In the eighth inning, Marian threatened with runners on first and second. Marian's Chad Langley hit a ground ball to Eagle second baseman Kody Parman, who threw to shortstop Andrew Lauitzen for the first out, and Lauritzen completed the relay back to Jaskulski at first for out number two. Cole Miklavcic attempted to catch the Eagles napping after sprinted for home after rounding third, but Jaskulski fired a strike to Thompson at the plate to nail Miklavcic and complete a thrilling triple play.

SUNY Old Westbury took control early and cruised to a 10-0 non-conference victory over the visiting CCNY Beavers from the Jackie Robinson Athletic Complex. Old Westbury starter TYler Kapela and reliever Alex DiSanto combined forces to record Old Westbury's third shutout of the season, holding CCNY to just three hits on the day.

Illinois College scored a 4-1 win at Millikin as Andrew Morris and Matthew Pardo each hit two-run home runs in the sixth inning. Nick Duke started for the Blueboys, allowing just one run over four innings, before David Pardo finished off the win with two scoreless innings of relief.

Penn State defeated Mount Union 6-2 in non-conference action. Of the six runs scored by the Lions, only one was earned as Behrend made the most of two Mount Union fielding errors.

Oberlin tied a school record for conference wins in a season, as it swept a doubleheader from Hiram by the scores of 10-3 and 14-8. With the pair of wins Oberlin improved to 9-7 in NCAC East play, marking the most conference wins in a season since 1986 when the Yeomen finished 9-11. However, this Yeomen team will have a chance to surpass that record as they still have three more league games remaining during the NCAC Cross-Over Weekend May 4-5.

Neumann won a non-conference contest at Moravian, 5-4. Ted Fletcher started the game and got into trouble in the second inning. Kevin Joo entered the game and threw 7.1 innings in relief for the win. He allowed one run on one hit and struck out nine. Erik Klimoff got the final two outs for the save.

Kenyon concluded its weather-altered series with the Allegheny Gators in the friendly confines of Jack Critchfield Stadium on the campus of Slippery Rock University. The neutral site played host to a pair of well-played ball games that resulted in a split between the two teams. The Gators battled to take a 4-3 win in an eight-inning game to open the twinbill prior to the Lords recovering and delivering a 5-3 win in game two.

After being held to four total runs in dropping its previous three games, the Muhlenberg Mules broke out for nine runs against Dickinson. And as it turned out, the Mules needed all of them. Senior Joseph Vila hit a tie-breaking home run in the top of the ninth, and Muhlenberg held on for a wild 9-8 road win.
