Susquehanna won its 15th-straight contest on a rainy Saturday afternoon, taking two from visiting PSU-Berks. The Crusaders won game one 12-2 and held off the Lions in game two, winning 2-1. Susquehanna has tied the longest winning streak in Landmark Conference history, as Moravian won 15 straight back in 2011.

Junior teammates Ben Libuda and Kris Doyle each recorded complete game victories to help Worcester State sweep MCLA, 5-0 and 7-1, to open MASCAC play at Auburn High School. Libuda surrendered just two hits to go along with three walks and six strikeouts as he only allowed one runner to reach second base in the opener. Libuda went the distance for the second time on the campaign on just 92 pitches. Doyle allowed just one earned run on five hits with seven strikeouts and five free passes in the nightcap.
Endicott followed up their win over #5 Southern Maine with a doubleheader sweep of CCC opponent Eastern Nazarene. Endicott trounced the Lions 16-3 in game one before needing an extra-inning solo blast by senior first baseman Brett Holmgren to catapult the Blue and Green to a game two win.
Senior Joe Mendez blasted four home runs on the day to become the all-time leader in school history and St. Joseph's (Brooklyn) pounded out 26 runs and 22 hits en route to a doubleheader sweep of SUNY Maritime, defeating the Privateers 19-5 in the opener before taking the nightcap 7-6 in six innings at Reinhart Field.
Sul Ross State turned things around against host Texas-Dallas in their ASC doubleheader at the UTD Baseball Field. The Lobos, who saw the Comets stage a late rally and win Friday's series opener, built big leads in both games Saturday and held on, sweeping the doubleheader by scores of 10-4 and 8-3.

In a clash of the North Atlantic Conference's top two teams from recent history, Castleton earned a three-game sweep over the Eagles to begin their conference schedule with a 3-0 record. The Spartans earned victories by scores of 8-4, 5-1, and 6-2. The pair of teams have split the NAC's past six conference titles. Husson claimed the conference championship last season and grabbed the title in 2011 and 2009. Castleton earned the title in 2012, 2010, and 2008. The two squads met on Saturday with likely playoff implications hanging in the balance.
Salem State swept both games of a doubleheader against Fitchburg State in the MSCAC opener for both teams. In the first game Ryan Hyjek threw a complete game two-hit shutout to lead the Vikings to a 4-0 victory. In game two, Matt Burgess hit a bases loaded double to propel Salem State to a 6-4 victory.
Danny Clifford went 6-for-9 on the day with two doubles, a home run, five runs scored and five runs batted in, leading George Fox to a 10-4, 14-2 sweep of the Whitworth Pirates in a critical NWC doubleheader at Merkel Field. The Bruins, hoping to stay in contention for the NWC title, entered the weekend fourth in the league standings.
Berry swept a SAA doubleheader from Millsaps by scores of 2-1 and 6-4. In game one it was a pitchers duel as Ben Jernigan went nine innings, allowing five hits and one run off a solo homer by Millsaps' William Chenoweth. Millsaps's Smokey Ethridge hurled all nine innings for Millsaps and took the hard luck loss. In game two, the Viking bats woke up with 14 hits total in the game. Stepen Gaylor collected two and had one RBI in the game. Zach Farmer, Alfred Francis, Grant Perkins, and Sam Joyce each collected a hit and knocked in three RBIs total.

Wartburg took the first two games of the four-game series against Coe this afternoon. The Knights claimed the opener in shutout fashion, 4-0 and won the second game 6-4. Senior Ben Rettenmeier pitched the fifth complete game of the year and struck out seven to earn the win on the mound in the opener. Sophomore Parker Bolt pitched 7.2 innings to earn the win in the nightcap.
Curry dropped both games of a doubleheader against visiting Roger Williams in CCC action in Milton. The Colonels absorbed a 4-2 loss in the opener, and dropped the second game by a final of 5-1. Senior Tyler Pogmore recorded his sixth save on the season, pitching a scoreless seventh inning and in the process, breaking the school record for career saves. His 24th career save breaks the previous mark of 23, held by Billy Dunn.
David Lockwood's two-out, bases-loaded double cleared the bases and capped a three-run rally in the top of the ninth inning to give Covenant a 7-6 victory over LaGrange. Covenant would finish the three-game sweep with a 9-3 victory in the nightcap. Covenant has won nine straight USA South contests and moved into sole possession of second place in the conference and are one game back of leader Ferrum.
Mississippi College improved their season-long winning streak to seven games by sweep a doubleheader from Ozarks at Lonnie R. Qualls Field. The Choctaws won the first game 6-4 and swept the series with an 11-6 win in the second game.
