Moravian improved to 2-0 on the season by taking down a second nationally-ranked opponent in two days as the Greyhounds defeated No. 12 Marietta, 8-5. Freshman hurler Dan Morrin picked up the victory on the mound for the Greyhounds in his first collegiate start, allowing just five hits while striking out eight batters in the first six innings of the contest. Junior Brett Wagner picked up his first collegiate save, tossing the final 2.1 innings with a walk and two strikeouts.

WPI amassed 25 hits on the opening day of the 2015 season to defeat Husson 11-4 and 9-6 at the RussMatt Invitational. The Engineers, who opened the season 2-0 for the first time since 2010, enjoyed a 14-6 margin in the hit column in game one and an 11-7 differential in game two.

Junior Drew Evans' walk-off RBI single capped a two-run rally in the bottom of the ninth as Averett upended conference favorite Ferrum 10-9 at Owen-Fulton Field to help the Cougars take two of three in the series.

Louisiana College put themselves right back in the thick of the ASC race with a 5-1 win over Howard Payne at Billy Allgood Field, completing a three game sweep of the Yellow Jackets. Freshman right-hander Trey Ducote tossed six scoreless innings and struck out eight to notch his first career win as a Wildcat.

Westminster (Mo.) opened the season with a doubleheader versus Nebraska Wesleyan in Columbia, Missouri. They won the first game, 9-3, and short-gamed the Prairie Wolves in game two, 15-2 (7 innings). The Blue Jays fell behind in each game but big innings in their last at-bats gave them the sweep and a 2-0 start to the season.

No. 21 Rhodes picked up a 9-3 win over Sewanee on Sunday to complete the series sweep of the Tigers and move to 6-0 in SAA play. Rhodes posted offensive production in the first four innings, with a single run in each frame. The Tigers posted their only offense in the second inning when they notched three runs.

Five pitchers combined to strike out 18 hitters to lead Stevens past the CCNY Beavers 7-4 for their third win in as many games. Freshman Alex Detweiler and sophomore Zeph Walters combined to throw seven innings of two-hit ball for the Ducks.

Freshman Tyler Weninger paced the offense with a triple, home run, and six runs batted in while sophomore Paul Vergara spun a five-hit shutout to help Wentworth take a 13-0 win over Becker in game two of a non-conference doubleheader played at Henley Field. The win came on the heels of the Leopards defeating the Hawks, 8-3, in the opener as Wentworth started the season 2-0.

St. Scholastica was on both ends of 3-1 scores on Sunday in its first action of the 2015 season. In the opener, the Saints defeated Penn State-Behrend and fell to La Roche in the nightcap.

Penn State-Berks rallied in the final three innings to post a 10-5 victory over Scranton at the Ripken Experience. The win in first game was just the second time since becoming a member of Division III that the Nittany Lions opened the season with a win. Penn State-Berks dropped their secnd game 6-1 to Catholic.

The Fitzgerald era of Heidelberg baseball is off to a great start. In the first game of the season for the Student Princes, senior Adam Manner was unstoppable on the mound, leading the Berg to a shutout of Hampden-Sydney. Manner struck out a career-high nine batters en route to the 6-0 victory for Heidelberg in the Snowbird Baseball Classic.

Emory sophomore Hans Hansen allowed just three hits and struck out eight over six innings, and senior outfielder Brett Lake went three-for-four with three runs batted in to pace eighth-ranked Eagles to a 10-0 win over New York University in their opening game of the 2015 UAA Championship in Sanford, Florida.

Frostburg State opened CAC action with a doubleheader sweep of Wesley at JP Riddle Stadium in Fayetteville. With the pair of wins, the Bobcats improved to 9-0 to open the season for the first time in recent history. The 1-2 punch of seniors Bennett Schiltz and Clayton Freimuth proved to be too much for Wesley batters and the Bobcat offense provided more than enough run supports as it has all season in the conference sweep. The Bobcats took the first game 15-4 and capped the sweep with a 6-2 victory in the night cap.

Kean rallied for three runs in the bottom of the ninth to walk away with a 5-4 win over visiting St. Joseph's (L.I.) in the opener of a New York region doubleheader. In the nightcap, Kean exploded for 12 runs, topping Old Westbury, 12-4. Sal Taormina was the offensive star with a 6-for-6 performance with three walks, three runs scored and three RBI.

John Lim and Wesley Fishburn each recorded four hits and combined for five runs as Swarthmore swept MacMurray to begin its spring break road trip. The Garnet claimed an 8-5 win in the first game and completed the sweep with a 7-4 victory in the second half of the doubleheader. Sophomore Ryan Burnett also finished with four runs in six at bats.

A balanced effort carried 10th-ranked Birmingham-Southern yo a second-straight SAA series sweep, as the Panthers defeated Centre College 11-1. BSC improves to 11-0 for the season, its best start since the transition to Division III and the longest current win streak in D-III baseball.

Seven Cortland pitchers combined for two shutouts as the nationally third-ranked Red Dragons swept host Gallaudet, 9-0 and 7-0, in a non-league doubleheader. Cortland improved to 4-0 with the victories in the pair of seven-inning contests. In the opener, junior Alex Weingarten made his Cortland debut and earned the win in the opener with five innings of two-hit ball.

Willamette scored five runs in the second inning and went on to defeat Pacific Lutheran, 5-3, in a NWC contest. The win for Willamette places the Bearcats and the Lutes one game behind Puget Sound in the NWC standings. UPS improved to 7-2 in the conference with a 9-4 win over Pacific (Ore.), as the Loggers completed a three-game sweep.
