Texas-Tyler and Texas-Dallas started a weekend series on Monday. In game one of a two game set, offense was in short supply as Tyler Dauer and Jamie Paxton both pitched well. A sixth inning run made Texas-Dallas and Dauer winners in a 1-0 final. Game two was equally close with the Comets making it a sweep with a 2-1 victory. Texas-Dallas has won six straight with the series finale set for Tuesday.

Junior first baseman Simon Rosenbaum hit a two-run homer in the first and senior rightfielder Mark Okuma added a three-run homer in the fourth as Pomona-Pitzer jumped out to a 10-1 lead after four innings and coasted to a 14-4 win over MIT. With the win, the Sagehens are now 17-6 on the season in its 23rd game of the season, while MIT slips to 1-2 in only its third contest.

Widener limited Arcadia to four hits as the Pride earned a 13-0 Commonwealth Conference decision. Each of the Pride's first three batters reached base to load them up in the bottom of the first before senior Matt Scherer delivered a single to left that drove in the only run Widener would need in the game. Senior Robert Barth scattered three hits with 10 strikeouts over eight innings of work or his first win of the season.

Carthage took advantage of four Carleton errors to emerge with an 8-5 win over the Knights. Dalton Sjong worked the first six innings and allowed three runs, two earned, on five hits and two walks. Luke Mentkowski blanked the Knights on three hits over the final two innings to earn his second save.

DeSales turns triple play in loss

With runners on first and second, Kean junior Sal Taormina lined a shot towards the middle on a hit and run. With the runners going, second baseman Tyler Sweeney was shading up the middle, and he snagged the line drive and started the easy turn to second base where Danny Licamara was covering for the second out. Licamara then threw to Jay Maletz at first for the inning ending play.

On Friday Rose-Hulman turned the seasons first triple play. With the bases loaded, Defiance's Ryan Kohlhofer hit a line drive to Kody Alayon who stepped on second and threw over to Josh Koutnik at first to record the rare triple play.

Southpaw Richie Ferguson tossed three plus innings of relief with eight strikeouts to earn the win as Kean topped DeSales by the final of 5-2. Ferguson allowed one run and three hits in three and a third innings of work. Junior Vinny Zanfordino picked up his third save as he threw two and two thirds innings of shutout ball to close out the game. He fanned two and walked no one.

Texas Lutheran took advantage of five Trinity (Texas) errors in the first three innings to build a lead and cruise to a 10-2 SCAC win to take the series 2-1. Matt King had two doubles to go along with a run scored and three RBI to lead the Bulldogs.

Oberlin defeated Williams to start the day and then took a more unconventional route in game two, erasing a 12-4 deficit over the final five innings to walk-off with a 14-13 win over Middlebury.

Washington & Jefferson opened the 2015 Presidents' Athletic Conference campaign with a 4-3 win over Thiel at Ross Memorial Park. Catcher Derek Helbing led the Presidents' offense, recording his first career multi-hit game with a 2-for-4 showing, while driving in a career-best three runs and racing to his first collegiate triple.

Jimmy Cody belted two home runs, including the game-winner in the bottom of the seventh, as the Mules came from behind to defeat Penn State Harrisburg, 8-6. Cody also homered in Muhlenberg's last game at the Diamond Nation turf fields and is the first Mule to hit three round-trippers over a two-game span since 1997, when Steve Faella belted three in one game. Cody, who had exactly one home run in each of his first three years at Muhlenberg, recorded the program's first multiple-home run game since Nick Busillo in 2012.

An offensive powered day with stellar pitching performances by Patrick Pittman and Matt Goodman led York to two wins, 10-8 and 17-0, in their home conference doubleheader opener against the Southern Virginia Knights. Pittman recorded his first win of the year as he allowed three runs on three hits in six innings pitched.

A three-run ninth inning propelled Drew to a come-from-behind, 5-4 victory over The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in game three of a Landmark Conference series at Baseball Heaven. Back-to-back RBI doubles by Steve Kowalski and Ryan Sabbaq tied the contest at 4-4 with one out in the top of the ninth inning, and Bobby Miskura delivered the game-winning RBI with two outs.

Dickinson won its third straight game, running past Penn State Schuylkill, 14-0. The Red Devils combined to steal 10 bases, just two shy of the school record. Austin Sumners (5), Ryan Dolan (4), and Steven Haynes (1) accounted for all the thievery.

Avery Rogers threw two perfect innings for his first save of the season in Guilford's 2-1 win over Greensboro. Rogers entered in the bottom of the eighth inning after the Quakers scratched out two unearned runs in the top half of the inning and erased a 1-0 deficit.

Jimmy Temte had three hits, including a two-run home run, in game one and provided the only run of game two with a solo home run in the sixth inning as Wentworth opens CCC play with a sweep of Roger Williams at the New England Baseball Complex. The Leopards held on to defeat the Hawks, 7-5, in game one, and blanked Roger Williams, 1-0, in the nightcap.
