Baldwin Wallace swept an OAC doubleheader at rival Ohio Northern on Tuesdday at Herb Strayer Field. The Yellow Jackets won the first game, 13-0, and the captured the nightcap, 10-2. BW has won six of its last seven OAC games are remains in second place in the league standings. Baldwin Wallace jumped out to early leads and in game one salted the game away early and scored late to secure the game two win.

In just three seasons, the Marymount has built up a program that has reached at least 20 wins so far this year and earned a spot into the CAC tournament for the second-straight year. Marymount enters as the two seed and showed exactly why it earned that high of a ranking, cruising to a convincing 11-3 victory to open up the tournament over fifth-seeded and No. 20 Christopher Newport. Top seed Frostburg dropped a 14-0 decision to Penn State Harrisburg. Third seeded Salsibury defeated Wesley 11-3. The CAC tournament continues on Thursday at Frostburg.
Misericordia won in walk-off fashion, 4-3, against Gwynedd Mercy at Tambur Field. Kenny Jarema singled up the middle to score the winning run. Mike Comerford was 2-4 with a triple and two runs scored while Jarema was 2-4 with the game-winning RBI. Kyle Lindsay was 2-3 with a walk and a run scored.
Sophomore lefty Drew Molin threw a three-hit shutout in the opener for his first collegiate complete-game victory in St. Thomas' 2-0 win at UW-Stout. Game two starter Ty Feyereisen allowed one run in five innings to aid UST's 6-1 victory that completed a sweep of the two seven-inning, non-conference games. St. Thomas, which ran its winning streak to eight, scored all eight runs on the day in two innings. Sophomore Jake Smith made it 19 games in a row reaching base with a hit or walk.
Earlham completed a season sweep of Mount St. Joseph, defeating the Lions 8-3 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action at Sadler Stadium. The Quakers rounded out their first HCAC sweep of the season as Earlham beat MSJ 10-7 on the road on March 22 and edging the Lions 4-1 at home last Tuesday. Brandon Smalling finished 3-4 on the day with four RBIs and a walk to lead the Quakers offensively.
Nichols upset No. 25 Amherst 13-6 in non-conference action at the Nichols Baseball Field. The Bison clawed across six runs in the eighth inning to help secure the victory over the nationally-ranked Purple and White. This was the first-career win for Nichols head coach Nick Puccio against a nationally-ranked opponent.
Joe Libby, Trevor Chapin, and Devin Springield each had three hits and starter Michael Crimi allowed one earned run in 6.1 innings as Keene State defeated Plymouth State 11-4 at the Owl Athletic Complex. Keene State sent 11 men to the plate for andscored five in the first and never looked back, scoring their second most runs of the season.

In their home opener, Clarkson went toe to toe with fourth-ranked Oswego State, earning a split of a twin bill. The Golden Knights put together two big innings to carry the Golden Knights to a 12-7 victory. Oswego State bounced back with a 8-2 win. Clarkson's win in the opening game snapped a 15 game winning streak for the Lakers and gave Clarkson a seven game winning streak.
Penn State Behrend secured two Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference road wins against Hilbert, taking game one 8-6 and game two 21-8. The Lions erupted for 21 runs in game two against the Hawks for their second highest outbreak of the season. Four players hit home runs for Behrend, Matt Wolczko took over the team lead with his third triple of the season, and 12 different Lions recorded at least one RBI, led by David Boehme with four.
No. 11 Shenandoah wrapped up its home slate with a 6-2 ODAC victory over Eastern Mennonite. Sophomore Colin Morse completed the season sweep over the Royals by allowing two unearned runs over 7.0 innings. Morse turned it over to seniors Ryan Mossman and Phillip Morse for the final six outs; the duo each worked 1-2-3 innings to clinch the victory for Shenandoah. The win also allows SU to continue to control its own destiny for the No. 1 seed at the upcoming ODAC Tournament. With two wins Saturday at Lynchburg in the regular season finale, the Hornets will clinch the top seed for the third straight season.
Freshman Nick Simmons drove in four runs on the day to lead a Valiant offensive attack that featured ten different batters recording a hit, as Manhattanville defeated cross-town rival Purchase 12-8.
Three wins in a season against a ranked opponent are impressive enough, but it is no easy task to hold said team to just six runs in 27 innings. The Gents outscored the Patriots 25-6 in three meetings in 2016 as #18 Centenary knocked off Texas-Tyler 8-3 in the last regular season midweek game of the season for the Maroon and White.
In a top-25 battle at Zimmerman Stadium, North Central (Ill.) used 14 hits to power past No. 19 Concordia Chicago, 13-6. Austin Wheatley reached base all four times he stepped to the plate, finishing 2-for-2 with a hit by pitch and a walk. Jeremy Quade finished 4-for-5 with two runs scored and a RBI while swiping three of the Cardinals six bases on the afternoon.
Thiel scored a pair of 2-0 victories over Geneva in a Presidents' Athletic Conference doubleheader Tuesday at Tomcat Park. Kevin Forrester and Nick Bucci both pitched shutouts in their games against Geneva. Forrester had a perfect game in Game 1 until Mark Overmier picked up an infield single to second base with one out in the top of the fifth.

Penn State Abington led 7-0 after four innings before New Jersey City stormed back for six runs in the fourth and got the tying and go-ahead runs in the seventh and the winning run on a RBI single by freshman third baseman Anthony Carfora as NJCU rallied for an 8-7 non-conference win at the Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex. NJCU won its 14th game and its first since April 6, snapping a frustrating nine-game losing streak. Abington, which outhit NJCU 17-11, saw its five-game winning streak go by the wayside.
Junior Jackson Weeg turned in a masterful performance as No. 8 Emory snapped its two-game losing skid with a 10-1 victory over crosstown foe Oglethorpe. Weeg tossed seven strong innings to earn his seventh victory of the season. He allowed just an unearned run on three hits and two walks while tying his career-high in strikeouts with 10. After giving up a run in the third inning, the Woodstock, GA native settled into cruise control for the remainder of the outing, retiring 14 of the last 15 batters he faced including 11 straight.
Grove City took both ends of a league doubleheader at Bethany. Grove City pulled out an 8-7 win in the opener and then prevailed 9-2 in game two at Bethany Park. At 22-7, Grove City is off to the best start in program history. Grove City's 14-2 conference record is also the program's best through 16 games.
Oberlin settled for its third consecutive split in North Coast Athletic Conference East Division play, dropping game one to the Hiram Terriers 4-2 before rebounding with a 6-3 win game two. With the Yeomen winning the first two against the Terriers nearly a week ago, Oberlin won the series three games to one.
Senior Michael Trentham had a pair of extra-base hits and three RBI as the second-ranked Randolph-Macon baseball team was edged 7-6 by Hampden-Sydney in ODAC action on Hugh Stephens Field at Estes Park.
JJ Branch struck out a career-high nine batters over 7.2 innings to lead the Gulls past Framingham State, 8-3, at North Field. In his eighth start of the season, Branch only allowed one earned run (three total), scattered six hits and issued two walks on 116 pitches (74 strikes) to improve to 5-0 on the year.
Rutgers-Camden scored six runs in the final four innings to rally for a 6-3 victory over Keystone in a non-conference game on at Christy Mathewson Field. The Raptors lift their record to 18-9 overall while the Giants drop to 20-6 this spring after having a five-game winning streak snapped.
Offense was not in short supply for John Carroll, as the Blue Streaks rolled to 11-3 and 11-0 victories in Tiffin over Heidelberg. Mike Raschilla went 5-for-6 with an RBI. Monroe Donnelly was 3-4 with three runs.
