Senior Jamie Lackner joined an exclusive club as No. 7 Wooster saw all nine of its starters score at least once as the offense continued to roll during a 19-3 win over Denison in a non-conference contest on Wednesday night at the Big Red Baseball Field in Granville, Ohio. Lackner, who made it 13-3 in the fifth inning when he touched home after sophomore Chandler Dippman was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, scored his 150th run of his career for Wooster.
Sophomore Zach Quintal snapped a 3-3 tie with an RBI triple in the fifth inning and later scored on a passed ball as the Southern Maine Huskies went on to defeat the visiting Endicott Gulls 7-3 in non-conference action at the USM Baseball Stadium. The win extends the Huskies' winning streak to 12 games, and improved their overall record to 19-7. The win also avenged a loss in late March at the hands on the Gulls. The Gulls dropped their second straight game to fall back to .500 at 14-14.
The College of Staten Island kept their win streak alive this evening with a sweep of Mt. St. Vincent in a non-conference doubleheader at the CSI Baseball Complex in Staten Island, NY. The sweep increased Staten Island's win streak to 9 in a row to bump them to 19-7-1 overall while dropping Mt. St. Vincent down to 8-23 overall.
The No. 1 Shenandoah Hornets completed a long home stand with a 17-10 ODAC victory over Eastern Mennonite. Shenandoah banged out 21 hits in finishing off a season sweep over the Royals. Sophomore Robert Marcelle had four of those hits on a single, two triples and a home run. The shortstop just missed the squad's first cycle since the 2013 season with the three extra base hits and he drove in a career-high six runs.
Hendrix completed two victories over in-state foe the University of the Ozarks at Warrior Field. The Warriors finished off a 12-6 win over the Eagles in a suspended game from Apr. 4. Hendrix then erased a late three-run deficit to win 8-7. With Lillard's three RBIs in the second game, he broke Jeff Forgerson's 2009 single-season program record with 47 RBI this year.
Another game and another impressive showing for the Concordia (Wis.) lineup. On Wednesday, the Falcons continued to roll, scoring 10 or more runs for the fifth time in their last six games, this time picking up a 10-1 win over Ripon. CUW has hit in bunches over the last week. In six games dating back to last Tuesday, the Falcons have scored 77 runs, an average of 12.8 runs per contest. Three of those games came against teams mentioned in the latest D3Baseball.com Poll.
Tyler Hardee lined a walk-off single to center field in the bottom of the 10th inning as Methodist rallied for a 6-5 win against Virginia Wesleyan at Armstrong-Shelley Field. With the score tied at 5-5, the Monarchs (16-20) started the bottom half of the extra frame as Brennan Brown singled through the left side of the infield and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt by Lucas Scott. Tucker Criswell drew a walk to put runners on first and second and forced a pitching change. With a new pitcher on the mound, Hardee drove a 1-2-pitch over the head of the center fielder to score Brown from second and gave MU a 6-5 win. The game-winning single was Hardee's lone hit of the game. Brown and Pete Wildeboer each went 2 for 4 at the plate as the Monarchs combined for nine hits in the victory.

Rochester slugged out 13 hits, including six extra base hits, in an 11-2 victory over Brockport at UR's Towers Field. UR snaps a nine-game losing streak, while Brockport drops its fourth straight. The middle of the Yellowjacket lineup provided most of the pop, with David Rieth, Aiden Finch and Tyler Schmidt going a combined 7-15 with 6 runs and 3 RBI. Rieth had a double and a home run, Schmidt had a solo homer and Finch had three hits, including a double. All nine UR hitters recorded a hit.
The Washington & Jefferson Presidents swept Point Park in a nonconference doubleheader, coming from behind to win 13-11 in the first game before taking game two by a score of 6-3. The Presidents improved to 20-7 overall with the wins, the sixth straight season with 20 or more wins and 13th time in the last 14 seasons.
Junior Cole Migliorini went 4 for 5 with a double, two runs and three RBI as 11th-ranked Randolph-Macon thumped Hampden-Sydney 13-5 in ODAC action on Hugh Stephens Field at Estes Park. Junior Rick Spiers was 3 for 5 with a double, two runs and two RBI for the Yellow Jackets, who snapped a six-game regular-season losing streak to the Tigers. Spiers extended his hit streak to eight games.
The "Walkoff Wonders" continued their last at-bat success as Brett Swanson's sacrifice fly scored Nate Leintz with one out in the bottom of the 10th in game two to give Concordia-Morehead a split with Carleton. The Cobbers could never get on track on offense in the first game and fell 2-1 but then rallied from a 4-0 deficit in the second game and earned a 6-5 extra-inning victory. The walkoff win is the fourth straight for Concordia and fifth overall this season. The loss in the opener snapped a seven-game win streak for the Cobbers. With the win in the nightcap Concordia is now 18-12 overall and 7-5 in the MIAC. The Knights ended their three game losing skid and move to 9-17 in all games and 2-8 in league play.
Marietta extended its winning streak to four games with a sweep at Capital in OAC action. The Pioneers blanked the Crusaders, 4-0, in game one and then came from behind to win the second game, 12-9. Marietta improves to 14-11 overall and remains in second place in the OAC with a 9-3 conference record. Capital falls to 15-16 on the season and 3-9 in the OAC.
Arcadia put up seven runs in the bottom of the first inning and never looked back on its way to a 12-3 non-conference victory over Penn State Berks at Erny Field. Bryan Gillen went 3 for 4 with a double, two runs scored and another driven in, while Justin Chasmar finished 2 for 5 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored.
Visiting Brandeis posted an 8-2 victory over Bridgewater State in non-conference action at Alumni Park. Rookie Albert Gutierrez got the start on the mound for the visitors and picked up his first collegiate win. Gutierrez allowed just one run on four hits over five innings. He fanned one and did not issue a walk. Three Brandeis relievers combined to work the final four innings to close out the victory.
