Chris Ciaccio and Zachary Marzano combined for seven RBI as Kean topped Cabrini 14-11 on Wednesday afternoon. In the first action since March 1st for the #8 Cougars, Kean registered 16 hits with eight walks to improve to 8-2 overall this spring.

Wild would be an understatement. In their Myrtle Beach debut, MacMurray shined, pulling off a thrilling 10-9 win over Penn State-Berks. In a game that truly featured everything, he Highlanders got clutch pitching performances in key moments, pounded out 13 hits and threw two runners out at the plate. Sophomore shortstop Connor Allen was 3 for 4 with a pair of RBIs. Brendan Schanz and Austin Wombacher collected two hits apiece, combining for three RBI. MacMurray smacked five triples in the contest.

Senior pitcher Mike Webb allowed just one run on seven hits over six innings of work as Rhode Island College defeated RIT, 14-1, at Chain O'Lakes Park on Wednesday evening. John Willette went 1-for-2 with a home run and four runs scored. Nick D'Ambra went 2-for-5 with a walk and two runs scored. Ryan Rotondo went 2-for-3 with two walks, one run scored and an RBI. Eight Anchormen registered at least one run scored.

No. 6-ranked Washington University snapped a two-game losing skid with a 7-0 win over Dickinson at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational in Winter Haven, Fla. WashU improved to 9-3 with the win, while Dickinson dropped to 6-6. Senior Matt Ashbaugh (3-0) picked up the win allowing three hits with five strikeouts. Junior Tim Tague (1 IP, 1 K) and senior Daniel Broadie (1 IP, 1 K) preserved the Bears fourth shutout of the season.

The Greensboro Pride used a four-run eighth inning to defeat the Maroons of Roanoke College 11-7. Devin Summers, Brayden King, DJ Lowry each finished with two hits, while five other players had one hit. Chenzo Scanio pitched the eighth inning and was credited with the victory. Cole Cooper started the game and pitched five strong innings before giving way to Kendal Tucker, who struck out three batters over two innings.

Ursinus smashed six home runs and continued its string of exceptional pitching in a doubleheader sweep of Becker. Dom Fiorentino and Alex Mumme each went yard twice for the Bears (7-3), who improved to 6-2 on their Florida trip. Mike Stanziale provided the go-ahead runs with a two-run double in the late stages of a 5-2 victory in the opener, and Mumme homered twice in a 12-3 game two rout. With three runs scored in the second game, Mumme tied the program record of 129.

Occidental crushed the ball in a 13-2 win over Rochester. Michael Ingram led the way, going 5 for 5 with a triple, a double, three RBIs and a run scored, and Preston Chong went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, two RBIs and two runs scored for Oxy. Antonio Andrade, the reigning SCIAC Hitter of the Week, continued his outstanding work at the plate, going 2 for 4 with three runs and two RBIs.

Delaware Valley dropped its first game of a twin bill with Immaculata, 5-0, but got back to its winning ways with a 3-1 victory in game two. Immaculata did all of its damage in the sixth inning of the first game with five runs on six hits and one error. Lead-off hitter Jason Smiley highlighted the frame with a bases loaded single that plated two. Two of the runs in the inning were unearned. Jared Sterner got the ball to start game two for the Aggies and held Immaculata to just two hits and no runs through five innings. Brendan Giampa came on to pitch the seventh and allowed a hit and a walk, but closed the game with a fly out and a strikeout to earn his second save of the year and give DelVal the win.

St.Mary's (Md) (6-3) continued their March by hosting the Wesley Wolverines (4-10) Wednesday afternoon at the Hawk's nest. The Seahawks marched past the Wolverines by a score of 11-4. This gives the Seahawks their sixth win of the season. On the mound, Mark Smith started the game and recorded the win. He gave up three runs on six hits and was also able to record three strikeouts. Tyson Johnson relieved him and gave up one run on three hits. He was also able to record four strikeouts. Sam Roeder closed the game giving up no runs on one hit. In total the pitching staff gave up four runs on 10 hits.

Junior Christian Naccari belted his first homer of the season and drove in two runs as Nichols rallied to defeat Massachusetts Maritime 14-12 in non-conference action. The Bison (4-2) and the Buccaneers (2-2) combined for 26 runs and 34 hits in a very offense heavy affair. Six Bison picked up multiple RBI in the game; DJ Caron, Naccari, Will Kleinhenz, Andrew Martins, Brad Ellis, and Michael Sobolewski. Nichols has now hit double-digit hits in four of their first six games.

their second win over Dean in as many days.

Maryville College picked up its ninth-straight victory to move to 14-5 on the season, as the Scots downed Iowa Wesleyan, 4-1, in the nightcap. Maryville won the opener 15-1. MC's Hayden Hollingsworth led the way offensively in game two with a 2-for-3 effort with a pair of runs in MC's six-hit attack. Senior Derek Hurt had a pair of RBI on two sacrifice flies. Alden Wright led the way in the opener with a 3-for-4 effort, as he scored three runs and batted in three more. Cody Gregory was 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI and runs each.

A three-run sixth inning lifted Allegheny to a 3-1 victory against Grove City in the Gators' home opener. Cam Karnik collected the win in relief, going 3.0 innings, allowing just two hits, while striking out one.Dalton DuBois, Isiah Lucas and Jacob Budnar all had multi-hit ga mes for the Gators. Lucas had a pair of RBI while Budnar had the third.

Bridgewater (Va.) broke open a close game with seven runs in the fourth inning and the Eagles went on to take a 14-9 ODAC victory over Washington and Lee. Bridgewater struck for two in the first and four runs in the top of the second inning, on Jacob Talley's long, grand-slam homer to lef,t for a 6-4 lead. After W&L trimmed the margin to 6-5, the Eagles pulled out of reach with the seven-run fourth.

Will Krushena, Brian McAuliffe, and Ty Robinson combined for 11 RBIs as Denison cruised past Muskingum by a final score of 16-1 at Mose Morehead Field in New Concord, Ohio.Finishing the game with 16 hits, including six extra-base hits, the Big Red tallied runs in seven of the nine innings on Wednesday, led by a 2-for-4 performance from McAuliffe. After opening the game with a sacrifice fly to center and scoring Vince Walker, the senior continued his stellar performance in the third when he drove home Krushena with an RBI double.

Going down 2-0 in the fifth inning, Amherst  scored 11 unanswered runs over three innings to top Williams, 11-2, in an unexpected and sentimental senior day at Memorial Field. Prior to the opening pitch, Amherst took a moment to honor their senior class of Carson Glazier '20, Jack Harlan '20, Topher Brown '20, Rob Casey III '20, Landry Mayo '20, Will Murphy '20, Zack Horwitz '20, and Severino Simeone '20. The Mammoths also took a moment to honor Williams' senior class of Kyle Dean, Charlie Carpenter, John Lamont, and Mike Stamas.  Amherst captures their third-straight win and moves to 3-0, while Williams drops to 0-3.

Case Western Reserve junior Tony Smodilla pitched seven strong innings to earn the first win of his collegiate career, and the Spartans' offense registered season highs in hits and runs, as CWRU rolled to a 13-2 win over Alfred State at the Spartan Southern Classic in Lexington, South Carolina. Making his first start of the season and the second of his career, Smodilla scattered seven hits over his seven innings of work, allowing just two runs. He failed to walk a batter in the contest, and struck out a career-high seven batters. The 93-pitch outing came after Smodilla pitched in relief twice earlier in the week. He improved to 1-1 on the year following the win, while lowering his ERA to 3.37. Meanwhile, the Spartans' offense was at its best on Wednesday, matching its season-high with 15 hits and driving in double-digit runs for the first time this year. CWRU also finished the game with a season-best six stolen bases.

Transylvania earned a pair of wins over the Capital Crusaders in two satisfying methods, winning game one at Whitaker Bank Ballpark, 13-0 in seven innings and game two via walk-off fashion in 10 innings with a 10-9 triumph. Transylvania pounced upon Capital in the opener by scoring in four straight innings from the third through sixth frames, highlighted by back-to-back five-run innings in the fourth and fifth to storm towards the 13-0 win. The second game of the day provided an equal amount of hitting power and a see-saw battle between Capital and Transy. With one out, Devyn Wilson-Cowan found a single through the left side to get aboard. As Willbur followed with a prolonged at-bat, Wilson-Cowan stole second. On the next pitch following Wilson-Cowan's successful bag, Willbur smoked a hard-hit ball along the first-base line and into right field, giving Wilson-Cowan an easy run home for the walk-off win.

behind in the first inning, the Cardinals (10-5) rallied
with seven unanswered runs, highlighted by a
three-run homerun from senior Connor Cozad, for
their fifth win in as many days.

SUNY New Paltz used clutch pitching down the stretch and hits from seven different players including a 3-for-3 performance from Matt McGee en route to a 4-3 victory over Scranton. The win advances the Hawks to a record of 2-2 on the season.  "We're still not totally there offensively," Hawks coach Thomas Seay said. "But we had a good batting practice yesterday, and we had some competitive at bats throughout the game. Our approach was better today. It was a good step in the right direction."

William Paterson (8-1) turned seven hits, four bases on balls, a sacrifice bunt and sac fly, a balk and four Ram errors into seven straight runs scored, posting a 7-1 victory at Farmingdale State (3-2). Dan Carter was 2-for-4 while adding a double and home run. Lombardo contributed a two-run single, and he and Perez each scored twice. Junior Jason Palmeri pitched 6.0 innings of three-hit, one-run ball. He struck out four batters and walked four. Freshman Darmany Rivas handled the next 2.1 innings and allowed one hit and a walk while registering one strikeout. Classmate Chris Nelson recorded the final two outs with a groundout and flyout.

Emerson defeated Lasell 9-8 in walkoff fashion in a game that featured five lead changes. With runners on first and third with one out, freshman Matt Nachamie snuck the game-winning single into left as the Emerson baseball team exploded for a five-run ninth to push the Lions past Lasell.

Westminster (Mo.) defeated Robert Morris-Peoria 6-2. season with the win. The Blue Jays scored two runs in the second to take an early 2-0 lead and added on three runs in the third off a pair of bases-loaded walks and a wild pitch. Westminster added another run in the top of the sixth on an RBI single from Branden Beeler. The Eagles clawed their way back in the bottom of the sixth, scoring four runs off four hits to make it a two-run game. However, Blue Jay pitcher Christopher Hoscher was able to hold them off for the next two innings and Andrew Boessen struck out two Eagles in the ninth to close out the game for his fourth save of the season.

Byron Dowdell II broke out with a monster game and the Southwestern Pirates defeated the New Jersey City University Gothic Knights 17-7. Dowdell, a West All-Region outfielder last season, shook off his early season struggles with a 3-for-5 performance, hitting back-to-back home runs to finish with four RBIs and three runs scored. Buoyed by Dowdell's performance, the Pirates put together their most prolific offensive game of the season, hitting .359 as a team with eight walks drawn and 15 RBIs. The Pirates continued with their batting order changes from Monday night's game in which Southwestern moved Lance Kruse and Seth Sparks into the No. 2 and 3 spots in the lineup, sparking the offense. The duo combined for five RBIs and three runs scored against NJCU, bringing their two-game total to nine RBIs and six runs scored.
