No. 1 Washington University in St. Louis wrapped up its weekend in Iowa with a 7-5 comeback win in game three of its weekend series. The Bears had a huge ninth hitting, pushing six runs across. Caleb Durbin, Andrew Huang and Zac Styka were all hit by a pitch to load the bases. Senior Johnny LaMantia hit a two-run single followed by an RBI single from junior Bo Anderson hit RBI singles to right to tighten up the score 4-5. Senior Collin Kahal's hit turned into a fielder's choice when the third baseman could not decide who to try to throw out, loading up the bases yet again. All three runners advanced on a wild pitch, with LaMantia's run tying the score at 5-5. Tim Van Kirk hit the go-ahead run with a two-RBI single to secure the 7-5 win for the Bears.

After scoring eight runs off of four hits, eight walks and five hit batsmen in an 8-1 win in the first game of Sunday's Senior Day doubleheader against Fontbonne University, the Gorloks scored eight runs in the seventh inning to rally for a 9-2 win in the nightcap to complete a St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader sweep over the Griffins at GCS Credit Union Ballpark. Mulhearn pitched eight scoreless innings in Sunday's first game and has now gone 16 consecutive innings without allowing a run since allowing two runs in the top of the ninth inning against No. 1 ranked WashU on April 11. Against the Griffins, Mulhearn allowed just four hits and struck out 11 in his 97 pitch outing to move to 8-1 on the year. Mulhearn has now recorded double digit strikeouts in five of his nine starts and hasn't walked a batter in five of his nine starts. Sunday's win was a record setter for Mulhearn as he tied both the school and SLIAC record for career wins with 30. The 2019 All-American is now tied for that mark in career wins with former Gorlok Isaac Behme, who won 30 games as a Gorlok from 2012-15. Mulhearn is now 30-15 in his career as a Gorlok.

No. 6 ranked Marietta College took two games from Muskingum University on Sunday to complete a three-game sweep of the Muskies. The Pioneers won game one, 6-5 in 11 innings, and then routed the Muskies, 19-4 in seven innings, in game two. Marietta improves to 21-3 overall and remains in first place in the Ohio Athletic Conference standings with a 19-2 conference record. Muskingum falls to 7-12-1 on the season and 7-10-1 in conference games. Alex Page lifted a deep sacrifice flyball to center field in the bottom of the eleventh inning that allowed Mathew Busby to tag and score the winning run in the first game of the day.

The No. 7 Washington & Jefferson College baseball team totaled 34 runs on 43 hits in a doubleheader sweep of Franciscan University on Sunday afternoon. The Presidents won by a 20-6 score in game one before adding a 14-2 victory in game two to complete the four-game series sweep. The sweep improves W&J to 27-1 overall and 20-1 in PAC games.

With their 11-1 win over Averett in game three of the series on Sunday, the 9th ranked NC Wesleyan Bishops has clinched the East Division of the USA South and the #1 seed in the upcoming USA South tournament in May. The sweep moves the Bishops to 26-6 on the season and 14-1 in conference play while Averett falls to 8-20 and 6-9. Senior starter Kevin Williams led the Bishops on Senior Day by throwing 7 no-hit innings before finishing allowing just two hits and one run on 2 walks and 9 strikeouts over 7-plus innings to improve to 4-2 on the year. Senior relievers Robby Casey and Mike Smith then came on to throw scoreless 8th and 9th innings with a strikeout apiece.

Thanks in part to a 10-run sixth inning on Sunday, North Central College completed the four-game season series sweep over Millikin University while extending its current win streak to 12 games. North Central really put the game out of reach in the bottom of the sixth with one of the most dominant half innings in recent memory, as the first 11 batters of the inning reached base and the first 10 batters of the inning came around to score without the Big Blue recording an out. Paul Beverly's hit by pitch was his 17th of the season, breaking the previous record set in 1999. Beverly had just one career hit by pitch entering this season.

Senior Jacob Selden had two hits and knocked in three in the opener, including the game-winner in the 11th, as the No. 14 Randolph-Macon baseball team split a doubleheader at Roanoke in ODAC action on Sunday. After a scoreless ninth and tenth, R-MC went ahead in the 11th. Nickles had a one-out double and Hass was plunked. Selden singled to right to drive in Mike Nickles with the go-ahead run. Hass sent to third on Selden's base hit and scored on squeeze bunt by senior Reece Yeargain as the Yellow Jackets went up 7-5. The Maroons built a 6-0 lead in the second game before R-MC got on the scoreboard in the eighth. The Yellow Jackets loaded the bases in the ninth but were not able to score and settled for a split.

No. 15 Shenandoah University split its ODAC doubleheader at Ferrum College Sunday afternoon. Shenandoah (22-7, 15-4 ODAC) rebounded from a 14-7 defeat in game one to top the Panthers (8-20, 5-14) by a 13-2 score in the nightcap. Ferrum banged out 21 hits versus four Shenandoah pitchers to earn the 14-7, game one victory. Shenandoah wasted little time in jumping on Ferrum in game two by posting a seven-spot in the second on its way to the 13-2 victory.

Chalk up another Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association doubleheader sweep for the nationally No. 18-ranked Adrian College baseball team. The Bulldogs came from behind in the first game at Alma to win 7-5 and then racked up a season-high 21 hits to crush the Scots in the nightcap, 17-2. Adrian moves to 24-6 overall and 18-1 in the MIAA to claim its eighth twinbill sweep, while the Scots fall to 11-15 on the season and 6-8 in the conference. In the opener, senior Ty Peck delivered a two-run single to put Adrian ahead 6-5 in the top of the sixth inning. The Bulldogs added an insurance run in the next frame when fifth-year senior Tristin Richardson reached base via an error to plate freshman pinch-runner Alex Joseph with the bases loaded. It was all Adrian all of the time in the nightcap, scoring four runs in the top of the first to set the offensive tone

The 25th-ranked College of Wooster squad overcame a six-run deficit in Sunday's opener, and then hung six runs on visiting Hiram College in the fourth inning of game two to finish a weekend sweep of the Terriers. Wooster took game one 13-11 and finished off Hiram by a 9-3 count at Art Murray Field, running its winning streak to nine games in the process. In game one. Domininc Stilliana powered the offense with a 2-for-3 line with three RBI and three runs scored. First-year Eli Westrick picked up his first collegiate win with 2 1/3 innings of relief in support of senior starter Evan Faxon. Westrick allowed an unearned run on two hits. Fellow rookie Corey Knauf worked a one-two-three seventh for his first collegiate save. Sunday's nightcap was scoreless until Wooster's fourth-inning eruption. The six runs were enough for senior Jay DiBacco. He picked up his co-North Coast Athletic Conference-leading fifth win of the year. The right-hander allowed two runs on four hits in 4 1/3 innings. After Sullivan worked a third of an inning, Knauf trotted out of the pen, and Hiram didn't fare much better against the rookie righty, who worked 1 1/3 scoreless innings in the nightcap.
