March 16, 2024 Chapman, ECSU, Rowan wins over past champions In the final of a three game set between previous World Series champions, Chapman (2003, 19) salvaged one win of the series with a 10-3 victory over Cortland (2015). Rowan (1978, 79) also won a clash of past champions with Southern Maine (1991, 97). ECSU (1982, 90, 98, 2002, 22) was a 2-1 winner over Marietta (1981, 83, 86,2006, 11, 12)
February 6, 2024 Region 10 Preview: West In 2023, semifinalist East Texas Baptist made the deepest run into the national tourney from the Region since Chapman won it all in 2019. No. 5 ETBU has the inside track for a repeat World Series appearance but a trio from the SCIAC, the top of the SCAC and NWC will have something to say about that.
February 26, 2023 Top ranked teams take beating on Sunday Claremont-Mudd-Scripts took two from No. 7 Chapman but hey were just one of five teams that defeated Top 10 teams on Sunday. Babson, Christopher Newport, Rose-Hulman, Washington and Jefferson were the others with wins against the Top 10 team in the nation.
February 11, 2023 Shenandoah opens with sweep No. 21 Shenandoah opened their season with a doubleheader sweep of Widener. No. 4 Birmingham-Southern made it two in a row with 2022 Super-Regional opponent No. 5 Trinity (Texas). In a 2022 regional match-up, Chapman and Pacific trades wins on the day.....more
February 5, 2023 Bruins upset Chapman to close opening weekend George Fox found the winners circle with a 4-1 upset win over No. 7 Chapman on Sunday. Lewis and Clark continued their winning ways to join Puget Sound with perfect 4-0 records.
February 3, 2023 Region 10 Preview: West Pre-Covid, the West Region was the home of champions but since then, only one team has made the final eight. Trinity (Texas) has a shot to return and Chapman, who lost in the super-regionals, has one as well.
