September 13, 2022 Paul comes back to Finlandia as head coach Luke Paul has been named head coach of the Finlandia University baseball team. He is scheduled to start his duties, Monday, Sept. 19, 2022. "I'm pleased that Luke is going to be taking over the program," said athletic director Curtis Wittenberg. "His experience with Finlandia as a student-athlete and assistant coach will be a benefit. Luke has a passion for the community and the University." Paul was the head coach of baseball at Jeffers High School (2021-22). In 2022, the Jets went 19-4, won the Copper Mountain Conference (CMC) championship, won the first district title in school history and advanced to the regional final. The Jets were 26-6 during his tenure and had two conference championships, 11 all-conference players, three individual CMC players/pitchers of the year and was named CMC Coach of the Year twice.

March 25, 2021 Pointers gives new head coach no-hit game in his first win UW-Stevens Point head baseball coach Nat Richter won his first game in UWSP's home opener, a 10-0 no-hitter win in eight innings over visiting Finlandia (0-4). The Pointers (2-2) completed the sweep with a 16-1 run-rule victory in game two.
March 10, 2019 Coast Guard sweeps, Shenandoah too The Coast Guard Bears took two from Finlandia on Sunday as brooms were out for Shenandoah and SUNY Poly as well. The Hornet set down Emory and Henry and the Wildcats opened their season with a sweep of Colby-Sawyer.
July 16, 2018 Finlandia baseball to join WIAC The WIAC announced today that Finlandia will be joining the WIAC as an affiliate member in the sport of baseball effective immediately.
April 22, 2017 Krug throws Finlandia's first no-hitter Sophomore Joey Krug threw the first no-hitter in school history as the Finlandia split with North Central (Minn.), Saturday afternoon at Wintercrest Park. Finlandia lost 7-3 before winning 9-0.
